I have been obese my entire adult life.
I was a chubby kid an overweight teen and an obese adult.
    From 1985 to 2002 I was anywhere from a size 24-28. When I started this plan I weighed 305 pounds & wearing a tight 26-28.
I had to buy a scale that went up to 325 to figure out that I was over 300 pounds!
I feel like I wasted my life giving it up to be fat.
I robbed myself of all the things that young adults do. And I regret that very much.
I let myself down I didn’t care enough about myself to do anything about my weight.
I had high blood pressure constant headaches and I am sure I was on my way to type two diabetes, since I was on a constant "sugar high". I knew I had these problems but yet I didn’t care enough to do anything about them.
I was at the point in my life where I was accepting the fact that I would die young from a weight related problem.
Being so heavy made me feel like I was living my life in a zip lock baggy and occasionally someone unzips the bag so I can get a breath of air.
I don’t think at the time that I understood I PUT MYSELF in that situation!
Being overweight turned me into a hermit living in cave.
My kids my family didn’t matter, I didn’t matter to me.
One morning in August 2002, I was trying to find clothes to fit me, didnt matter what as long as it would fit. I was hot, frustrated and VERY sick, I had nothing left to do except ask God to show me a diet plan where I could loose this weight and keep it off, I wanted a healthy diet, I knew pills, shakes, and anything DIET was not going to work, already tried them all! When I finished that prayer I walked into the living room and saw Michael Thurmond’s 6 week body makeover on TV. I got online and checked it out I saw a lot of people loosing weight and not just 10-20 pounds 100’s of pounds.
I ordered the plan with the thought that I would probably loose 10 pounds over a few months and that would be all I could loose. I really wanted to loose the 30 pounds as advertised but I never thought I would. I kept thinking boy if I could just wear a size 22 that would be great! I thought a 22 was small, I guess it was compared to a size 28!
I got the kit on Aug 19th at 11; 30 in the afternoon and my life changed from that moment on! I followed the plan for 4 days before I lost weight then suddenly OVERNIGHT I dropped 4 pounds then on day 5, I had lost 7 pounds! I thought well I broke the scale!!!!
I was totally shocked to see that I had lost 12 pounds the first week! I lost 6 pounds the 2nd week and exactly 30 pounds in the 1st 6 weeks.
To date I have lost 124 pounds and 104.0 inches. I am still on the plan with another 31 pounds to go and I KNOW my goal is doable! I have respect for myself, and self esteem for the first time in 18 years! My life is totally opposite from what it was a year ago. I am finally ready to be the best i can be, to BE EXCELLENT! You see this weight loss is much more than the numbers on a scale it is a total life changing experience!
People often ask me what its like to loose so much and my description is, everyday is like Christmas! I have the same excited feeling everyday when I wake up and literally jump out of bed like a child on Christmas morning going to see what Santa has left for me, and what I get is a pound or an inch less or both, or the excitement that I don’t have to dread the day because I cant function.
These forums are a major key to my success on the 6wbm. I REALLY never thought I would get this far and still find it hard to believe!
I am totally hooked on the forums and all of my friends I have made both online and in L.A.!! Dan my bestest buddy, I know I can always count on you :) Yvette- Thanks for being "my goal". Dari -thanks for listening. There are so many of you to thank from Baker 622 the first person who talked to me online, and encouraged me from the start :) To Dee who is always there ;) Annie- Thanks for sharing your story that’s why I bought the plan and it take’s all of us to pass it on because there may be some one out there who is looking for the answer, just as we were!
People are always asking me "is this a hard DIET" My answer- it’s not a diet, it’s a life choice to be healthy. I get asked what pills I am taking the answer is NONE. What food are you buying? I buy the same food you probably have in your home right now. (With the exception of those Twinkies)!!
The plan is not hard; I could not be on it for 15 months if it was hard!!
I don’t have strong willpower it is just the determination to be healthy
    (And look like Yvette) LOL!!!
Finally for those who are considering ordering the plan I WOULD NOT BE HERE IF THIS DIDNT WORK! I believe in being totally honest with everyone. If you want to know if this plan works just hang around here a while you will see that it does work.
You really do eat A WHOLE LOT MORE and EXERCISE LESS! I am proof that it works.
No body paid me to be here I take time daily to come here for my own satisfaction! (Works quite well);)
When I started this journey everything I am now was just a dream! You really can LIVE again! Just trust one last person ONE LAST TIME! It’s the last time you will ever need to.
    Don't waste another minute........Be Excellent!

    Crystal..
Let me see...it's the end of the month...current royalty is about to expire, and you've left a lengthy message on the success forum. What might that add up to???
You and I started on the same day, and we've managed to play off of each others successes and were there at those times when we thought we'd fold and fail. It's been a wonderful little journey for the past 17months!!!! Hope it will continue one for a long, long time!
    Way to go kiddo!!!:D;):D

THANKS so much for telling your Story!!
Eleven days ago.. I had a somewhat similar experience in finding the infomercial and the website. I was feeling so very tired no energy hardly able to move around.. and very depressed....
Words like yours help me to know that I WILL do this, it is doable, it is worth all that it takes to stay on plan each day.
Your wonderful... and I am soo happy for you!!

    Crystal,
Thank you SO much for sharing your story.
Out of all the stories I have read on these boards, yours is the one I identify most with. I have always been fat too and I have looked to you for inspiration my entire time here. Even if it has been silently at times. Thanks for posting pictures, stories, encouraging signatures. You look awesome and I know you'll reach your goal.
Although Im only 21 I had also basically accepted that I would die young due to an obesity related illness. Im so glad that I still have my whole life ahead of me to 'catch up' and get out of my own personal zip lock bag. I still have trouble believing that I will make goal...but Im starting to think I can.
You are such a great role model. I cant wait to see you on the new infomercial looking all cutie patootie. Its not yet december...but congratulations on being the SSOTM.
    YOU ROCK!

I've read bits and pieces of your story since I started here in April. You are truly an inspiration. More people need to hear your story and know that anyone can do this. I have tried to get a woman at work to look into this program. She is on the wait list for gastric bypass surgery. I will try to steer her to your story as hers is similar. Then she will know there are other alternatives.
And yes it does feel like Christmas everyday now that weight is coming off and staying off. May your every day of freedom from your ziplock be blessed. Take care!

    Crystal,
Congrats! I emailed you about 2 months into my journey on 6wbm; and you had nothing but encouraging words for me! As you can see, I have stuck with it (a miracle in itself) and it has worked. I am so thrilled for you!!! Way to go! I know what you mean about a life changing experience.... I'm right there with you!
Keep it up... and I will too!!!
