The 6 Week Body Makeover program mentions "free foods" in the Makeover Notebook. Free foods are foods that can be added to your meals and snacks at your own discretion to help add additional flavor or ease hunger. It is not recommended to snack on these foods in between meals, but rather to add them to your meals when you so desire. Free foods include:
Greens (see "What are Greens?" post in this section for comprehensive list)
Non-starchy, low carbohydrate vegetables, including:
Bell Peppers (All colors - red, green, orange, yellow)
seaweed, no sodium added variety, dried or fresh
peppers (chiles) of any sort
In addition to the foods mentioned above, nsa broth and plan-friendly vinegar would also fall into the Free Food category.
