I Lost 90 Pounds!

Recently a friend of mine from work said he couldn’t believe how fast the inches had rolled off of me. He said one day after not seeing me for several weeks he saw me coming to work. He asked another employee “who is that? Did they hire someone new?” When he realized that it was me he couldn’t believe the change. The total inches I lost in overall body volume was 4’10” (90 pounds). I have a friend who is 5’3 and weighs 105 pounds. Within a few inches and pounds I lost her! When I say that to people they really understand what I did in those 8 months. Now I’m celebrating my first year since I started the program on the 25th of August. I think the most rewarding aspect other than the health benefits is listening to the comments that friends give me now. To know how people think when they see the drastic change makes it easier to keep up the program on a long term basis.

June, What a vivid picture you paint of your weight loss. I admired your "stick-to-it-tiveness". I got to my 50 lbs loss point and snagged about a month ago. While I still have lost 4 more lbs this month, my attitude sucks!!! and the food and exercise are not what they had been. I still have 26 or 16 more lbs to go (depending how I look). Your story helps to reinspire me.

Hi!
I'm LeLe. I started July 29, 2002. I am a type A. I have been using the the Rapid Results Menu exclusively. It is working wonderfully. I didn't actually start to exercise until my 3rd week but as of Monday (8/26/02) I have lost a total of 14 lbs. I'm in for the long haul. I started at 212.50 lbs and my goal is 115 lbs. by 2/27/03. Wish me luck.

Rainwoman: don't despair! We admire you "oldies" because you are an inspiration to us! You've hit a plateau and that is VERY hard to break! Can you do fish for awhile? That might jump start it. What about biking? Maybe the cool fall days that are approaching will give you new inspiration. I wish you luck, and hope that you can hang in there. You have come SOOOO FAR!
