“I am so excited, November 2007, I will be turning fifty, I personally do not know anyone happy about turning fifty, but, a few short months ago I was not convinced I was going to live to fifty. Thank goodness for the 6WBMO program and the support, I will not only celebrate my fiftieth, but I am healthier than I was at 30.”
MY STORY.
I am like so many others who have been on the 6WBMO, I have battled weight issues on and off my entire life, and even though I have a few pounds to go to make it to goal, I know I will, because this plan works, all you have to do, is, work it. I know in my heart that it is a life style not a diet.
It was not to hard to keep the weight in check during school, but, when I was in my twenties and trying to make ends meet and be a provider for my family, nutrition and fitness were not priorities on my to do list, so the years of fast food no exercise and not enough rest was taking its toll. When I got around to addressing my ever expanding body, tried every quick fix diet, pill, and program on the market, with little success , usually putting more back on than was lost. Now I understand that, the only thing I was accomplishing, killing my metabolism. In my opinion, the majority of most diet plans, quick fixes are all money scams. Ok enough of the failures, we can all get on a roll, with the diet of the day fleeces.
My twenties where a struggle with weight and I was loosing terribly, hope was starting to fade ,and guess what, with my metabolism dead I was now obese, go figure. I was like everyone else, first denial, then, I started to feel as though this was the way I was meant to be, after all, I spent years and countless resources, with out any success!
This is something I noticed, it did not only, impact my health, strength and stamina, it changed how I looked at life, it changed the way people perceived me. I tried the tough guy biker stuff, then when I got to big to even do that, I tried the jovial fat guy, let me tell you I was miserable and not getting a break anywhere I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. In my thirties things quickly turned from bad to worse, now, I was morbidly obese, it hurt to just do things I take for granted today, I was living on pain killers, it hurt to even sleep. The weight was crushing, I was constantly tired, sinus problems, all kinds of things were starting to happen, I knew I was ready for a meltdown. Let me assure all of you, I had no fear of death, it had to be better than how I was feeling, all but one, of the children were grown and gone. Then something happened, at the age of 44 my wife had another child. I knew I had to do something, I was frantically checking and researching everything, the fix of the day was by-pass surgery, and this appeared to me as Russian roulette. This disturbed me greatly, because of all the past failures and disappointments
Around the end of 2005, and January 2006, I had been attempting to loose with the Atkins diet, it just did not seem healthy and was not working. I was quickly running out of options. Then one sleepless night I caught Michael Thurmond in his red corvette, promoting the 6WBMO, I loved the premise ,but, thought those are not the same people, I watched several more times, then got my wife to watch, she said that it was money back guarantee, what did we have to loose. Looking back now this saved my life, a few weeks earlier I had an episode at a store with my son who was now 4, I am sure this was early warning signs of a stroke.
We started the plan, well I did, and my wife was the administrator. I want to stop right here and thank my wife, she has never weighed over 106 pounds, but, she knows this plan and believes in it, the first six weeks she kept me straight. I was on the plan maybe 3 or 4 weeks before I weighed, the only reason I weighed was for NBU, an on line simulated university, which by the way is outstanding , alright the big day was here I had to get on a scale, first official weight was 348 pounds, I felt like crying. My beginning inches were around 418 inches.
I have lost 135 pounds and regained my life, no medications. I am not finished; my goal of 175 is right around the corner and should be around goal by the end of February 08.
Life is good, my outlook is positive, and my quality of life is outstanding. Thank you, Michael Thurmond, for using your talent to benefit so many. I would also like to mention some people who also made a difference in my journey, Kim(kammeraadclan), Rachel(brwright), Dolores (bmos delores).
I would also like to thank all my family for being so supportive and holding me accountable.
If you are having weight related health issues, I beg you to give the 6WBMO a try, Provida guarantees it, what do you have to loose? I bet it will change your life too, I know it has mine.
