To participate,
your dorm must select
a mascot,
a motto
and a cheer (or fight song)
One representative from your dorm
must bring it to the
QUAD
on Friday August 21st
by 10pm Central time
and then the members of your dorm
may claim the bonfire icon:
Be sure to stop by the
QUAD
during the Pep Rally
so you can meet the other dorms,
and get to know your fellow students better!
(Dress warmly, and be prepared for a fireworks display!)
Kirby here -- Since I totally lost my brain this week and FORGOT to post this in the dorms this weekend, I'm posting the instructions below...that I normally leave to your RAs to post. If you've been given different instructions, then by all means listen to your RA. But no matter what, the Mascot Parade is on Friday!

the NBU Quad is hosting a Pep Rally
with a “parade” and bonfire on Friday Night.
Your dorm needs to come up with a mascot graphic,
a dorm motto, and a cheer or fight song.
Here’s how we’ll go about it:
Between now and Thursday,
nominations are open in all three categories
(mascot, motto, and cheer).
If you have suggestions for any of these,
please post them in the dorm.
On Thursday, we’ll vote on our favorite in each category,
and then on Friday
the winning mascot, motto, and cheer will get posted in the Quad.
For participating, we will each receive this bonfire icon:
