    Welcome

Hi all, I know it seems like the same old, same old...but there are those of us out there who desperately want to succeed, have lost a significant amount of weight on the program and then stalled out and fell off plan for one reason or another.

I'm just that sort of person!!! I want very much to get to goal!!!!

I would like to get a group going that would commit to staying POP by keeping an accounting of what is put into their mouths each and everyday.

You don't have to name each and every food, an example would look like this...

    Monday March 5-
    B-POP
    MMS-POP
    L-POP
    MAS-ICK
    D-POP
    (optional meal)

We would of course make staying POP the optimum priority, as this is the only way the progam works.

If you would like to join me in staying accountable to ourselves and each other until we get to goal, then jump in and let's get started!!!!

I so need the butt kickin and I enjoy getting to know others.

We can challenge each other to complete mini goals for staying POP and completing exercise, taking it one day at a time!!!!

    Come join me!!!!

I'm ready to get to goal, or YOU???!!!!

    Hugs,
    Penny

Keep in mind...that LIVING LEAN is our goal!!!! If we don't stay POP, drink our water or do our exercise...we will not be able to put this very powerful statement of our success in our siggies!!!!! I know I want to get to Living Lean, it's all I've thought about since starting the program last July!!!
I took my eye off the prize and let life get in the way of taking care of me. I have come to fully understand that I'm not any good for my family or friends, if I'm not good to myself first!!!

So, remember, Living Lean is our ultimate goal...we can do it, I know we can,
and, this much desired little icon will be ours too!!!!

    Stay POPIN!!!!

    Hugs,
    Penny

Penny, I'd like to join you. I think I started about the same time you did. I started easing off the plan during the holidays, and I've been having problems getting back on track ever since. I haven't quit, but I haven't had the success I did during the summer. I haven't had a good reliable thread to post to either, maybe that's contributing. I just need to buckle down and get it done! Mondays are usually good for me, it's the Thursday - Sunday that get me.

    Terrie,

I know what you mean, I've floundered around for nearly two months and now I'm just refusing to gain and leave Onederland. I'm absolutely going to get to goal this year!!!
Would love to have you on board!! I don't have any great secrets on how to get this done, and I think we've been around long enough to realize that we either want it or we don't!!! We've just got to get stubborn about putting the right food in our mouths, at the right time and sticking with it...
I've had a POP day all day...but I'm still just taking it one meal at a time!

As far as Thusday-Sunday, I think we tend to let our guard down and think...I've been so good all week, a few "treats" here and there won't matter, but we know it really does!! Then we want to beat ourselves up for not doing the right thing. It's a vicious cycle that I've come to loath!!!

Now, I'm just refusing to let myself go there...I WANT to reach goal, I WANT my family to be proud of me, mostly I WANT to be proud of me for doing something so good for myself that it shows all over!!!!

I'm cheering you on and I know this can be done...Let's do it!!!!

    Hugs,
    Penny

    Hi Penney:

I would love to join you all. I have been successful at all so far. What is POP???

I haven't any idea what that is. I find this very difficult eating plan. I can't get to exercise because I can't get the exercise straps to fit in my doors. All the doors in my house stick!!

Any ideas? I could sure use them.

    Well, thanks for listening

    Patty,

POP means, Perfectly On Plan for eating.

Drinking your 100ozs. of water is important also because it flushes all the toxins and fat out as you lose.

For exercise, I would start by just walking, at a brisk pace, the amount of time is up to you. I shoot for 20 minutes at first, and work my way up to an hour in 5 or 10 minute increments.

As for the bands, I use a heavy chair for the leg exercises. I stand on them for bicep curls. I agree that they are hard to use and almost broke one of my doors when I first got them.
I use them on a limited basis and fill in with other toning exercises.

The program does take a little getting used to, but if you stick with it, you'll be very happy with the results.

    See ya tomorrow,

    Stay POP!!!

    Penny

Something to think about...post your answer, it may help one of us at a difficult moment...

Can you accept the moments of anger and fear as guests, be willing to receive them with kindness without feeling obliged to serve them a five-course meal?

I've decided I'm NOT going to let my emotions sabotage me. I'm a HUGE emotional eater. I can't continue like this any longer. I want to get to goal more than I want anything else. I will NOT let anger, sadness, etc. make me give up my goals.

    I started this AM.

I did Leslie Sansone's Heart Healthy Walk (30 min. 2 mile walk) and Denise Austin's Stretch and Flex (30 min stretching video)

    B-> POP!

    Gonna make it this time!

PS- Good Morning All!! I'm excited to get started and meet new people :)

Thanks for the nice welcome. My goals for the day. Simple. One meal and one bottle of water at a time. So far 3 meals down and I'l working on the water. A little ICK is sneaking in here and there, but I'm not letting it stop me from staying with the plan. Another thing I'm doing different this week is planning my meals a little further in advance, and switching up my dishes a bit. I made tortilla-less soup with chicken and potato, and greek style soup to which I add beef and potato for my lunch and dinners. Then for my snacks I'm doing Rapid Results meals with grilled Tuna and greens. That gives me a lot more variety, and hopefully I won't be burning out by Thursday.

    One meal at at time...
