    WEEKLY REVIEW QUESTIONS

This week I would like to congratulate myself on:
Nothing. My food isn't as bad as it looks...just not loss POP qualified...so not many points.

Things I would like to improve on:
Get back into Loss POP...I am starting the 6 day mini to get the past the sweetner cravings...My sweetner is splenda but I am having cravings so I need to get back to hard code.
Ways I think I can achieve these improvements:

I am starting 6 day mini today. That should jump start me going back down AND move me past the cravings. Where is Tammi when I need her to keep me on track?

This one is so easy but so tasty. Since I am doing the 6 day mini, I need rice and chicken for dinner, so I am using a slight modification of this to add some flavor to my rice (I am NOT a big rice fan so adding the flavor makes rice something I can enjoy instead of tolerate ; )

    __________________________________________________________________________

    Margarita Chicken

    __________________________________________________________________________

From member popculturegal   I liked Chili's Margarita Chicken so much that I made my own!

    2-4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
    ½ cup lime juice
    ¼ cup lemon juice
    Splenda or Stevia, to taste

Questions about plan-friendly ingredients? Click here for information.

Mix it up, toss in the chicken breasts and let it marinate for at least  ½ hour.  Put all the ingredients in to the skillet and cook till done.

For some extra flavor.....toss in some cooked rice into what is left of the juices and you have margarita rice!

    Compatible with Body Type:

    Breakfast A-B-C-D-E

    Morning Snack A-B-C-D-E

    Lunch A-B-C-D-E

    Afternoon Snack A-B-C-D-E

    Dinner A-B-C-D-E

    PM Snack A-D-E

    This Recipe Contains: Protein B

    Hellllooooo Monday!

Is it me or does it really feel like a Monday today? Dang!  I'm glad that I'm back home and I'm already planning to crawl in bed as the sun is setting. LOL

OK, I couldn't pick just one person to send positive thoughts to for the relay race challenge, so...

     Southeast Gang:

Hang in there! We are now on WEEK 3!  Let's get focused and finish this week strong! I know we can ALL do it!   Focus on one meal at a time and one day at a time.  We can do this!!

On that note, I need to cook some turkey before the sell-by date, so I guess I've got a task ahead of me before I can give up and go to bed.   Off for now, and I'll see 'ya soon!

    Question Of The Day

    Sunday 6/14/09

What is your worst haircut / hairdo story?

My hair was well below my shoulders and has natural wave the longer it gets.   My dh liked it the length it was but I had a friend, or so I thought, who was a beautician who said she would trim it for me.  When I left home it was long and he told me how much he liked it well when I returned home later my hair was not an inch long all over my head.  Needless to said I had a very unhappy camper at home for quite a while.  I have never had it that short since.

    WEEKLY REVIEW QUESTIONS

This week I would like to congratulate myself on:
I just decided to join so I'm not POP this week at all.

Things I would like to improve on:  Food being POP, Water (100 oz per day), Cardio and Toning
    ........................

Ways I think I can achieve these improvements:  Think before I eat, drink water in place of drinks, ride stationary bike daily and do toning at least twice a week.

It is really harder trying to refocus on what I need to do.  My mind just wonders too much.  I do realize I am hurting myself more than anyone else.

    Question Of The Day

    Monday 6/15/09

If you had a time machine, that would work only once, what point in the future or the past would you like to

I don't think I would do either.  There are a lot of things I have enjoyed about the past like the birth of each one of my children, the birth of my grandbabies, the Thanksgivings and Christmases we had with my parents and all the children.  The joy of watching each child marry, then there's the heartache of loosing both parents, my dh being told he has cancer, my dd being told she has cancer, the joy of knowing that my dd is now cancer free, the faith that God will heal my dh and the blessing I have received from friends and family.  The joy of learning who you are and what you like and your family and friends.  Getting back on track to become a healthier person.
