so i've done this time and time again all with good-great results but i have never been able to STICK to it long enough to truely make a difference in my life. i really.. truly.. must.. have got to do this and there's no way around it. i know the only reason i haven't been able to stick to it yet is because it's all in my head.. i am holding me back.. i'm my own worst enemy in this situation. please pray for my journey to get healthy and lose a LOT of weight..

hopefully this is the last time i have to restart.

    k.t.

Hi K.T. and Lisa!! Ok, this is my FINAL restart.....i really really hope! I have had a really hard time getting my head in to it this time, I think the long dreary winter had a lot to do with it. I am out of clothes, I am NOT buying new bigger ones so either I go naked....eeewwww! or lose weight, losing weight seems the least humiliating at this point! LOL!

I hope we can support each other! I am making a real effort to be on the boards every day, even if it is just to say HI! Hope to hear from you both soon!

Ok, don't abandon me here! LOL

Seriously, one thing I have found that really helps is to post something everyday! Even if it is just to check in and say hi! the "connection" helps you to stay OP! Hope to hear from you all later!

Hi ladies! I hope i can join you. This is my 3rd restart! Surprise It is only five months since the last time i started. That time it had been four years since the last time. So i'm hoping since i am doing them closer together eventually i will just stay on! Ok hope that made some sense.

Were you planning on a weigh in day? I weigh in on mondays. I'm actually going to start this coming monday, a few days to plan. Im sad because I am up almost 15 pounds in 5 months! I'm not sure what that is all about, but I need to do something.

By the way my name is delana, I am 26 years old and single mom to Emma who is 2!

Hey all-have been looking around for a thread to keep me going(fighting the whole mental side of things with some stuff going on) and was actually drawn to this one because of all your energy.  Yes, I honestly feel energy from you guys-positive energy!!!!  I know Peggy from another thread but am not stalking her.  LOL  Honest!!!

I was a restart a few times, and hope this is the one that keeps me going, slow as it may be, until the final lb.  Shoot, when I first started I think it took me about 3 months to actually, truly start!  Pathetic, huh?Stick out tongue

Anyway, if you wouldn't mind, would love to post here.  Let me know if it is OK with you all?  No matter what, just believe in you and work the plan-you are worth it!

Okie dokie....here we go! I have stayed OP this week, how about that? One day (while traveling) had to eat a turkey wrap and threw away most of the wrap, couldn't get all my water in that day. BUT...instead of throwing in the towel, buying a pizza and consuming the whole thing....I stepped back decided tomorrow is a new day and began again! I am not perfectly on plan, but a whole heck of a lot closer than I have been for the past year! LOL, I think I have actually lost weight. I will weigh on Monday so we will see!

I think we do have a great little group here! I am with Carole, the energy feels positive and I need that! And trust me, if Carole has anything to do with it....it will STAY positive! LOLI don't even feel stressed about the 3 day weekend which have previously been my worst times. I just get bored and eat! But the weather is beautiful, my horse is in need of some exercise and so am I!

Ok, I blew it with the QVC thing....I ordered the Biggest Loser food scale and the Biggest Loser people scale....OMG! I am like seriously FAT! So this is incentive to lose, that and the fact I have exactly 3 pairs of pants and 2 shirts that I can wear to work....eeewwww! Well, I have a brand new wardrobe waiting for me, I hope to be wearing it by Christmas!

Hopefully, I will be checking in more often. I have been traveling all week and by the time I get home I just want to crash! I have been in the car forever, it seems! Hope to hear from all of you again, hang in there for the weekend! We can do this together!

good job on staying pop! Keep that wardrobe at the front of your mind, that will make staying on plan a little easier i bet!

I was thinking that i do not have a wardrobe to shrink into! i have been overweight since i was about 12. I don't remember wearing anything smaller than a 22, I am in a 26 now. I think i have a few 24's and one pair on 20 pants that my sister bought cause they were 3 dollars. lol So right now those are my goal pants if I can get into those by this fall I will be extatic!!!Big Smile

Hope everyone else is popping along. I start monday morning and looking so forward to it!!

Hello all-quick note between cleaning the pit I call a house.

Oh, great, Peggy!  Make them think I am perky or something.  Ick!  I don't do perky.  Perky is evil...Stick out tongue

Delana-do things in advance as much as possible-bulk cook and freeze or at least do a few days at a time so there is always food to grab and go.  If the food is there it makes it so much easier to stay on plan and to not lose focus.  Mind and heart are needed to truly do the plan right.  You know this, but just reminding you and me...having stupid thoughts here, so kind of hoped "saying" it would help me, too.

Have to go, but will try and post regularly.

hello all-think the house won the majority of the fight yesterday.  LOL  Made a dent, but then it started kicking back.  Stick out tongue

Have the majority of the laundry done, partially folded, and cooked a bunch today.  The roomie and her son were gone so kind of took some time to do what I wanted.  Devil  LOL  Made 2lbs of pollock and divided, a bunch of a wild/texmati/brown/red rice mix, and made up a gr beef thing with NSA stuff(kind of like a spaghetti sauce with out it being too saucy) and will just measure that out as I go.  This is end of payperiod week so things are tight, but think I have enough to get me through.  Can always resort to plain eggwhites for a couple of days if necessary!

Hope everyone is doing well, enjoying the long weekend if you have one, and being great on plan.

Will post tomorrow if we don't get the dog from the rescue group we have been working with.  It has been nearly a year since we lost our last husky and the house and our hearts need some fur!

Delana-the weight varies a lot by person.  When I was on before, I had lost 70 in around 7 months.  This time, I am really fighting the stupid hormones(age and some medical stuff) and it is a constant battle.  I did lose the 30 in the 6 weeks, but I have real issues with the sodium so 15-20 of that was the first week to 10 days!

You will see your biggest loss in the first week, because of the water weight, but stick to plan and you will continue to see losses(unless old and decrepit like me!  LOL)

Just hang in there and remember that ALL losses are great losses!  OK??

Good Morning, All!  well, i am being lazy and sitting here drinking coffee instead of stepping on the scale! LOL, but I will.

Carole, hope your weekend was good, I didn't get time to post but did pretty good. Had a couple of slip ups, nothing too major though! I didn't buy the pizza! (or eat one)

Delana, it isn't about how fast you take it off, it is how you take it off and keep it off! The only way to do that is to change how you think about food, the weight loss will come. I just do this one day at a time, that is the only way I can without freaking out! If I look at the BIG picture....the 100+ pounds I need to lose....it is too overwhelming!

and it takes about 21-28 days to form a "habit" the Plan is a habit that I have to re-introduce in to my life! you know, eating every 3 hrs., drinking my water, getting a walk in.....and telling myself every day I can do this!  I just figure smaller clothes will be the reward! i know what you mean, about the clothes....I hate spending money on "fat" clothes so I buy stuff on clearance...well there is a reason it is on clearance, it is BUTT UGLY!!  LOLOL!!!! Big Smile

Well, I have drunk all of the coffee, can't put off the scale any longer! Wish me luck!!!

I am trying to keep my goals small and about the 6 week range. I think that will be easier than the big picture! I know the sizes and clothes will come. I haven't done my inches yet so i will do those tonight because I know I will need to see those as the weight might slow some time.

My day is dsarting great. I am just about to my mms and I have in almost 50 oz of water. I work in the afternoon so it works best for me to get in as much as I can early in the day.

Hope everyone else is haveing a great morning!

Hello, I would love to post here too.  I am also a restart.  I did the program last summer and felt great.  I am a teacher and did not have the plan down well enough when school started.  I hope to master it this summer so that I can continue through the school year. I lost about 20 pounds, but gained it all back plus some.  I need to get focused and do more.

To truly love and care for your loved ones, you must first love and care for yourself! Amy
