    Name:
    Tara McNair

    Where you are from:
I'm from Queens NY but I now live in Schenectady Ny

A little about yourself- married, kids, how you got on the program:
I'm married with two kid, I was watching the innformercial one day at work and I thought that it made alot of sense since no one metabolism fit all and I orderd it this year in April.
Since I've had it I started and been re-starting. So now I'm at he point where I'm just ready to lose the baby fat from my daughter

    Your Goals:
    See bottom

What new attitude, new body and possible new career would do for you:
The new attitude for me is everything iln moderation, my smat behavior is a foodaholic and I need to realize that there is anything I cant have (not during the 6 weeks, I like to say 42 days it sounds shorter to me) jus have it in moderation. New body ooh yeah looking to git into a size 9 or 8 the lowest i like my booty excuse me as well the usual toned everything not too bulky but fit and lean. Possible new career not yet but im looking foward to starting school again going for my RN.

How best can we help you achieve your goals:
Well when I'm facing temptations I would like to come here for moral support. Tell me the things that help you in your tempations and trials. I can eat all my meals well the 5 most important meals and drink all of my water and even get my walking and toning in but when that craving comes its a battle.

So I hope this can give you enough insight about me

    Goals:
    Starting weight: 164
    160 pounds: a new book or CD's
155 pounds: get my hair done
150 pounds: a weekend to pamper myself
145 pounds: a new outfit and footwear
140 pounds: goal weight--- time for shopping

Trust in the Lord at all times

    Welcome Mely and Tara...
Mely how about New Commitment??? You are a blessing to me too.. enjoyed being Butterflies together.

I like that idea of consistency -- we do have to be consistent to get to our goals...

Tara--I have used prayer to guide me through the temptations and cravings. it has worked -- I asked the Lord to make my cravings distasteful to me... I was craving a big juicy hamburger-- I chose a little one -- it was not as good as I remember.

Awesome that you would like to start with us. Look forward to seeing you in the New Year! Let's get lined up ready to go!

    God Bless

I've been trying to lose the baby fat since I gave birth and my treat is shopping which every woman loves and I'll be enjoying much of it tax return season which is here so I'm not playing with none of that crap.

    Hello Everyone,

I'm back and ready to make a new start. I'm joining the New Attitude challenge.

    My name is: Jackie/jbanksaz

    I'm from: Avondale, Arizona

A little about myself: I'm married and have 2 grown daughters and 3 little stepchildren. I worked the program for 5 months and did very well. However things in my life changed and I broke my routine, went back to my old bad habits and it has been hard to get back on track. I'm looking for support, encouragement, motivation and accountability. I will have finished school, all the moving and the holidays will be over and done with. I feel with the New Year comes a new beginning and I will be able to get back on track and reach my goal weight.

As you come to the thread--Please answer the following questions:

    name: April/abcasey90

    where you are from: Anchorage,AK

a little about yourself: I am married and have an 8 yr. old son. I discovered the program from watching the informercial about it and decided I couldn't loose at this program. So I ordered it and has changed my life completly. It actually works and all you have to do is follow what to do and you won't fail at it.
your goals: Reach my goal of 130 and see where I want to go from there. And learn how to live lean the smart way. Was there once and didn't do living lean the correct way and started gaining. Now I have lived and learned what not to do. So this time around will be different.

how best we can help you achieve your goals
to provide support, motivation and not standing for any excuses. Once I start making those and I get away with it then I can't stop.

Tara~ Looking forward to getting to know you better and having tons of fun in '07!

Mely~ Glad you will be joining us again on this new thread and a new journey into '07!

Jackie~ Glad to see you joining back up with us too.

Okay Girls - I have decided to take the plunge and jump on this challenge thread with you for the new year and my new attitude!!!

    Name: Janine/jcaldwell
Where you are from: Grove, OK (grand lake o'the cherokees)

I am married, the mother of 3 grown boys, 2 granddaughters, 1 grandson and a new granddaughter on the way. My hubby and I own our own retail Gourmet Kitchenware and Gourmet Foods store (yes, this is sometimes a problem for me and my weight!). For those of you who were on the previous thread - I am Peg's sister. A girl that used to work for me ordered the plan and was telling me about it, a few days later in the middle of the night I saw the infomercial and because I was sooooooooo frustrated with my weight and the inability to loose weight naturally, I ordered it immediately. Hubby and I were both skeptical, but have come to consider it the only way to loose weight and live healthy for life.

My goals for this next year is to get the 40 #'s off that I need, if I actually do it per plan it I could be at goal by the middle of May - just a couple of weeks after my 25th wedding anniversary - wouldn't that be a great anniversary gift for ME!!!

A new attitude, a new body, a new committment....that is what hit me about this thread, this is exactly where I am at right now. I was gung ho when I started the plan last April - did great, took off 30 #'s by September...then the stress of the upcoming holiday seasons hit full force and I reacted as I always do - by eating...yep, I'm an emotional foodaholic. It has taken me until last weekend when I stepped on the scale and was mortified as to how much ground I had lost, to get it back together....Now, no excuses - time to have a NEW ATTITUDE, A NEW BODY AND A NEW COMMITTMENT.

How can you help?? I think we can all help each other by encouraging each other to do our best at all time - is that perfect - NO, but sometimes a gentle nudge in the right direction is needed. I do have some physical limitations right now that are keeping me from cardio..but can still do the sculpting and the rest of the plan.

So - hello, my name is Janine and I would love to join you in The New ABC's for next year!!!

    Janine

YEAH!!!! Janine, my sis, is here!!!! I encouraged her to come join us again. We have such a great time and have such fun challenging each other to do our best.

So thought I would also go ahead and check in now with my info, since I won't be able to do that again until Jan. 2, when I will be back in town.

    Name: Peg/pegjohnson

Where are you from: Concordia, KS, which is about 30 miles from the Nebraska border in North Central Kansas

A little bit about myself: I am a wife of 30 years, a mother of 2 grown sons (ages 28 & 24), a mother-in-law of an adorable daughter-in-law, a grandmother of 3 (2 granddaughters, ages 4 & 2 and 1 grandson age 6 months). I am an administrative assistant of my home church (a grand way of saying secretary to the entire church LOL). My husband is co-owner of a family engineer/architect/surverying firm. I was an athlete in high school and college and didn't have struggles with weight until I married and had kids and have struggled with it my entire married life. I have tried many "diet" and developed many bad habits, eating and weight management. When my sis told me about the 6wbmo plan, I was encouraged that it was working so well for her, so decided to give it a try, as i was at an all time high in weight gain, high cholesterol, high blood sugar, high blood pressure. It has been the only program that I have learned how to eat in a healthy way and lose weight by eating healthy foods. Cholesterol is down, blood sugar is down & blood pressure is down.

New attitude, commitment: While I feel I did great to lose 30 lbs in the last 6 months, I really fell off the wagon at Christmas time and need to start again. So let me introduce myself again. Hi, I'm Peg and I'm and emotional food-aholic eater, who needs help learning new habits, accountability to stay with it and encouragement when I blow it. Oh yeah, and I sometimes need a kick in the bootie to get back at it! LOL

How best can we help you achieve your goal: My goal is to be at my goal weight by my 1 year anniversary of starting 6wbmo, which is June 1, 2007. That will be right before my 31st wedding anniversary and will be a wonderful anniversary present to me. You can continue to help me achieve that by continuing to do what you all have done so wonderfully throughout the last few months -- encouragement, support, accountability and discipline. We have done that while having fun and challenging each other to be a little better at this new way of life each day.

sooo, I am looking forward to getting started in the new year with a "renewed" attitude and spirit and working toward setting new goals of getting my food, water, cardio, sculpting & journaling back up to 100% POP. And along the way I will be making new habits and walking once again on this new journey of life with you all.

I will see you back here on Jan. 2, which is when i will be back home from my small trip I'm taking to spend new Year's with my sis. Whoo Hoo! I'm looking forward to the break and anxious to get started back here with you all again.

    Happy New Year's everyone!!

    Hey Ya'll!

Do you guys have room for an oldie but goodie??

Been away for a while due to my surgery, but am so happy to say that I'm alive and kickin and ready to get back into the swing of things!

What a looooong strange trip it has been for sure! Had a good report, Dr managed to get all the tumor and leave a clean margin so I'm so thankful.

Just wanted to check in to see what's up. I'll try to be back later and read up on what you all have been up to.

    Later!!!!

    Kathy

I can't believe I've been away for so long. I missed out on the last 6 weeks and as Janine said, lost some ground. I have put on more than I'm comfortable with and although it sounds cliche, I am ready for a new commitment, a new beginning on January 1st.

It's so good to be back among some old familiar names and faces...it will make it that much easier to get back in the groove.

    Name: greengoddess/Chris

Where you are from: I live in New Britain, Connecticut (just outside Hartford)

A little about yourself- married, kids, how you got on the program: I have been married for 17 years and have a soon to be 13 year old daughter and a 9 year old son. I have been heavy since childhood and as many of you, tried just about everything on the market. My best friend knew of my struggle. She was away on business for several months and I thought I'd surprise her and lose a big bunch of weight while she was gone. Guess what didn't happen?! In a wonderful twist of fate, she called me and told me about a weight loss program she found. If she was recommending it, it had to be good. I didn't even wait for her to return so I could look through her literature. I bought the program without having seen the infomercial yet. I started it right away and lost about 15 pounds before she got back.

Your goals: I had gotten to within about 12 pounds of goal by sticking to the plan, but I got cocky...I went back to some bad old habits. My goal is to re-energize myself and lose the "holiday" weight and get the rest of the weight off. Another goal is to reestablish my friendships with the wonderful people on this thread!

What new attitude, new body and new commitment would do for you: I know what it feels like to be near my goal. My new attitude will set me on the right path to get there again. My new commitment will go far to get me back in the exercise groove. And my new body, well... *Wink*...there's no telling!

How best we can help you achieve your goals: Continual reinforcement. This group has so much to share. It's great knowing we're all in the same boat.

    Chris

When you are committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results
