If you work a non-traditional day job, then the program will still work very well for you. What you are recommended to do is to think of your meals more by number than by name. So, what most consider breakfast you will consider Meal #1. Remember, the Fast Track Menu card offers a few menu suggestions, but you are greatly encouraged not to eat those same meals over and over again. Instead you are recommended to pay very close attention to the Infinite Menu Planner choices which will tell you what foods you are to eat for each meal and in what quantities.
Okay, back to Meal #1 (which many consider breakfast). Just because the FTMC (fast track menu card) suggests, say, an egg dish, you may not want to eat eggs at 3:00 PM if that is your Meal #1 time. That's fine!! Just be sure to check what proteins you are allowed, A, B or C and then eat whatever you'd like from those choices. Then, 2.5-3 hours after meal #1, then you eat meal #2. Do maintain the order of meals.
If your schedule changes throughout the week, meaning you have a 24 hour period when you are awake the whole time then you'll have to do a bit of experimenting. Obviously, you'll need to eat, but what and when is what you need to experiment with. Depending on your level of physical activity beyond your 6 approved meals, you may need to add additional snack meals that consist of protein and fruit (in your normal portions) or a protein and carb. You may select a carb if you are physically active and need the additional energy. Again, you will need to learn to read signals from your own body.
