Forum Etiquette and how to not hijack a thread! People create threads so that they can either gain support or ask specific questions. When they do this, they are looking for responses to the question or topic at hand. Therefore, it would be considered bad form to go into that thread and post a question that is totally non-related. We all know that this hijacking is unintentional, normally performed by a new person who is eager to learn but woefully lost. To avoid this innocent mistake, please be sure that your question or response is related to the topic at hand. This is how you create your OWN new thread!! Go to the top of any forum's opening page, say Newbies which you'll find here. I'll do my best to orient you to the page. At the very top is your toolbox. If you drag your eye down to the left edge of that toolbox, keep scanning down until you see a button that says "New Post". Click that button and you'll get a text box. Give your thread a title, and off you go!! If you are asking general questions, then post away. If, on the other hand, you feel you need a response specifically from the BMOS Staff members (Body Makeover Specialists) then you may wish to include that in the thread title. Rest easy, however, because this very dedicated staff of BMOS read through all new posts on a daily basis. Please be patient though! We promise to get to your question before a 24 hour period has passed. More than likely, you'll have your response within minutes to hours of posting! While we're on the topic, it is best to ask your questions where they are most appropriate. If you have questions about food, then the Food and Eating forum is the best place to post. A question about your fat burning cardio routine? Go to the Fat Burning Cardio forum. If you're not sure or your question is just general in nature, you can post it in the Newbies or General Discussion forum.
