Journeying to Easter Ash Wednesday, February 25, marks the beginning of the season of Lent this year. “Lent” comes from a word that means “spring.” Though it is not yet spring, this winter certainly has been mild. Remember the cold winters and snow storms we’ve had in the past? Winter snow blankets the ground, yet it is only temporary. The snow always melts and spring flowers burst forth in vibrant colors to announce the new life of spring. So it is in the season of Lent. We begin the season by hearing the call to repentance and reconciliation. We hear the call to turn once again to God, to be reconciled to God and to each other. Then we travel the 40-day journey to Easter Sunday with the joyful expectation of the celebration of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The somber gray of lent gives way to the glorious announcement of new life on Resurrection Sunday. Traditionally, Christians have embarked on the 40-day journey to Easter by observing various spiritual disciplines. On Ash Wednesday we are invited to observe disciplines like self-examination, repentance, prayer, fasting, self-denial, and reading and meditation on God’s Holy Word. Perhaps you would choose to focus on one or more of theses disciplines during your journey to Easter. If you do so choose, the discipline you practice can function to place you in the path of God’s Grace. And as God encounters you through your spiritual discipline, you are invited to listen to God. Listen to what God wants you to accomplish through the practice of your discipline. As you travel your journey to Easter, may you be blessed as you experience the presence of the Risen Christ. GOOD MORNING Donna and to all who love to PRAISE THE LORD.
The last few years have been trials, tribulations beyond some of my comprehension. The days at times I felt the scripture that said; he will not let us be tempted with more then we can handle. I thought that was scripture that surely couldn't be true. Yet in all its glory it was and is true no matter what I thought.
We all on this thread have suffered great loss, sickness, disease, temptations and trials that seem unbearable. YET HERE WE ARE. What an awesome Father who cares so much to bring us together in times that have been so troubling and so hurtful physically and spiritually at times. Yet we are together joining in praising the LORD IN ALL THINGS. Doesn't say we have to praise him FOR all things but "IN ALL THINGS".
I write this because my Friend who received to great miracles, (seen the prof herself)even then because of the pain couldn't believe for a 3rd one. (which is OK, and I am not judging just want to share what we do at times.)
The two were so dynamic yet her Dr. (have now found out that he is right no matter what the test results say, even tho he is wrong) stated very adamantly that he didn't care, he knows what cancer looks like and he was taking her kidney out. For me at that point I would have asked for a second opinion. But it wasn't me.
Mary being in pain, also had a BAD hernia, talked to many persons and prepared herself to give up her kidney no matter what. Which in my opinion that is where she gave up her third miracle. Would have she gotten one, maybe, maybe not. In my opinion I believe she would have since she already had prof that there was no kidney stones nor cancer. The tumor could have been dissolved and she could have had a healthy kidney when they went in. We will never know, because she did not ask to see the kidney after the surgery. Anyhow enough of that. Her kidney is gone, they moved her intestines around to get them away from the opening of the hernia, did not sew it up because it may heal on its own.
She is still in the hospital one week after her surgery, doing well but not able to leave cause she is not able to drink enough fluids to help her one kidney they left. Anyhow, keep her in your prayers if you would that she will begin to have drink more fluids and heal quickly. She has an 8 year old grand daughter that she has custody of that needs her at home.

And when we FEAR things, what we fear will come upon us. There is a good fear that is to FEAR GOD,
Prov 1:27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

NOW IS THE TIME TO PUT ALL OUR FAITH IN ABBA FATHER, AND NOT IN THE THINGS OF MAN. NO MATTER WHAT MAN SAYS OR DOES. WE STILL HAVE OUR FATHER AND THE KINGDOM ON OUR SIDE IF WE BUT CHOOSE TO CALL UPON HIM. IN ALL THINGS, FOR ALL THINGS AND FOR ALL THINGS.

ONE OF THE WOMEN OFFERED TO FIND OUT THE PROCESS OF REFINING SILVER AND GET BACK TO THE GROUP AT THEIR NEXT BIBLE STUDY.
THAT WEEK, THE WOMAN CALLED A SILVERSMITH AND MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO WATCH
HIM AT WORK. SHE DIDN\'T MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT THE REASON FOR HER INTEREST BEYOND HER CURIOSITY ABOUT THE PROCESS OF REFINING SILVER.
AS SHE WATCHED THE SILVERSMITH, HE HELD A PIECE OF SILVER OVER THE FIRE AND
LET IT HEAT UP. HE EXPLAINED THAT IN REFINING SILVER, ONE NEEDED TO HOLD THE SILVER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIRE WHERE THE FLAMES WERE HOTTEST AS TO BURN AWAY ALL THE IMPURITIES.
THE WOMAN THOUGHT ABOUT GOD HOLDING US IN SUCH A HOT SPOT; THEN SHE THOUGHT
AGAIN ABOUT THE VERSE THAT SAYS: 'HE SITS AS A REFINER AND PURIFIER OF SILVER. SHE ASKED THE SILVERSMITH IF IT WAS TRUE THAT HE HAD TO SIT THERE IN FRONT OF THE FIRE THE ENTIRE TIME. THE MAN ANSWERED THAT YES, HE NOT ONLY HAD TO SIT THERE HOLDING THE SILVER, BUT HE HAD TO KEEP HIS EYES ON THE SILVER THE ENTIRE TIME IT WAS IN THE FIRE. IF THE SILVER WAS LEFT A MOMENT TOO LONG IN THE FLAMES, IT WOULD BE DESTROYED.
THE WOMAN WAS SILENT FOR A MOMENT. THEN ASKED THE SILVERSMITH, "HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN THE SILVER IS FULLY REFINED?" HE SMILED AT HER AND ANSWERED, 'OH, THAT'S EASY -- WHEN I SEE MY IMAGE IN IT.

Almighty Father hear my prayer I have a friend Angel that has entered the battleground of cancer. Please Father wrap your loving arms around her and give her total healing. Heal her body and her mind. Give her lasting strength to beat this disease. May she believe in his word spoken in Psalms: Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: We are trusting in the Lord that He is with her and He will be with her always.
Heal my friend Angel, give her strength and courage to continue her battle till this disease is beaten out of her body. Strengthen her faith oh Lord that she may lay her troubles in your hands, the hands that can cure all. In Jesus name we pray Amen

I ask for your prayers for my SIL. Today she goes to the doctor for the final consult on a brain tumor that she has. They have decided to operate. It is near her speech center and also near an artery - tricky and dangerous. They won't know a lot until they are in there. She told me that the tumor is like the yolk of an egg and they have to remove it without rupture or she could get a nasty infection. I know she is really scared (who wouldn't be?). She told me her will is in order and all her paperwork. So I call upon all you prayer warriors to storm heaven. She is in her early 40's. Her name is Kate. I will keep you posted as I find out more. Father I thank you that you hear the prayers of your children. Recently I have been honored to see miracle's first hand. I have watched and seen how you work for all who call upon your name. Kate is yours and we have called upon the heavens, to bring healing throughout Kate's body, from the top of her head to the souls of her feet. Kate be healed in Jesus Name.
And for the Dr's. steady there hand and give them great wisdom to do all they can do for her, that her body can begin the work where only the great physician can go. Dr. can only do so much, the rest is up to YOU LORD, help Kate to begin to receive and even a miracle when they go into the brain or where ever they have to, they will be amazed to see what you HOLY SPIRIT have already began in her. Dear Jesus -
Keep Kate, Erin's SIL in your arms, warm and safe while she endures the unknown with her tumor. give her the strengh to do what she has to do and give strength and hope to her family to be there through this.
Let her come through all this, give her faith to know the surgeons will do their best and heal her with their skill. Jesus hold her close and send your healing powers to her through those surgeons and through your divine wisdom.

GOOD AFTERNOON ALL!!!!!!
I know I have not been real faithful to stop by but I still remember to pray for all even tho I don't post.
I have a prayer request, not going to say much about it. You can go back to posts here in 2007 Feb or something like that to find out more if you want, but really no need to.
We had some serious issue's with our X daughter in-law that she was doing when she had her daughter Mai on her weekends. To keep this short. Mai is no longer in counseling and I get along and love Hong no matter what her past or what she did or didn't do. (never prov en) But because I now am close to her and I help her as much as possible for Mai's sake(age 5).
Anyhow I take Mai to her mom on her weekend which she only takes her maybe 1 night a month now(her choice) because I drive 160, 1 round trip miles to take her and then go pick her up(she pays me, that is not a problem). This Sat. I stayed in Omaha with them and also had my 11 year old grandson with me(which I was so glad to have a witness even tho it wouldn't go anywhere).
Now I have said to much but. Mai did something in appropriate to her mom, in front of Jesse and I. I said something and Mai's response was, grandma I can because she born me. I told her mother NO that is wrong and she was not to allow that. So for the moment she stopped Mai, but she does not feel it is wrong to allow Mai to drink from her breast.
Anyhow the fact of the matter is, on the way home I asked Jesse if he had seen and heard what Mai had done. Before he could respond, Mai said: "grandma that is a secret and you can't tell anyone unless I say you can" so Hong had already told her it was a secret and she was not to tell anyone, that says that most likely the rest of what happened 2 years ago it true only it is a secret and Mai is good at keeping a secret if her mom tells her to.
Prayer request is to get back into counseling quickly, and Mai telling what ever is going on when with her mom. For now tho I am going to stay with them every weekend until Mai gets help. My room is FREE, food FREE, so it will only cost me one night ever 3 wks away from home.
Thanks ahead of time for those who help me out in seeking the Lord for what to do and getting Mai in counseling quickly, or telling her teacher at school would be great, the LAW is not on our side when it comes to this as others know from what we already went through.

You’re letting defeat, discouragement, and self-pity rise up. Why don’t you turn that around and say, “God is still in control. Jesus our almighty healer, our creator, our miracle worker our link to eternal life I come to you to plead for the healing of our sister Susan. Again she has been stricken with cancer. You laid your healing hands on her a little over a year ago and she was healed. I ask that you again place your healing hands upon this child of Gods and make her well again. Give her the strength to fight this dreaded disease and give her courage to place her life in your hands. We know the Doctors are the instrument you have given the wisdom to help the ill, but the true healing comes from you. Be merciful and give Susan another disease free life with her family and friends here on Earth.

Father God, I come before you today to stand in and lay(agree)hands on Susan for this affliction that has come upon her again. I don't know where all Susan stands with you LORD, but I do believe she knows you and loves you.
Today I take authourity over the name and disease cancer. According to your word and truth. The NAME OF JESUS IS HIGHER and full of everything we need to live life in this world. JESUS is greater and destroys the disease called cancer. IN THE NAME OF JESUS we tell cancer to BE GONE.
SO BE IT AS WE HAVE SAID. We praise you Lord and worship you. Your word has made whole, healed the sick, cleansed the lepor and set the captive's free. We are FREE. James 5:15-16 And the prayer of faith shall (SOZO)deliver, protect and make whole the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins(see my thoughts on sin) , they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (((((( This is my thoughts on, what is sin? You have to remember that Jesus has FORGIVEN ALL our sins. Do we still sin? I don’t know about the rest of you BUT I DO, I will share my greatest sin. It is knowing that Jesus forgave ALL MY SINS, and then not being able to LOVE ME, and FORGIVE MYSELF. If I can not forgive myself first, I can not truly love the one who lives IN ME. THE FATHER IN THE PERSONAGE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. Knowing this I have to learn how and forgive myself from excepting all the things I have created in my life. That is opposite or not in agreement with the WORD of our FATHER GOD. AGAIN! I don’t know about you all, but I have sinned against FATHER by not loving me and forgiving me.
It has always been easy for me to be able to forgive others, and I love with a passion for others. When in Oct. 2008 the Lord told me I was not a loving person. I was knocked off my feet when I asked HIM what he meant by that and HE so lovingly explained this to me. Today I know my life is turning around and my faith in GOD has become real and truthful.
You see if you can’t or don’t LOVE yourself, you can’t and don’t love anyone else. No matter what you might think. If you say you have the Holy Spirit abiding in you, and you do not love yourself (which you can not if you can not forgive YOU)then you can not LOVE GOD. That really hit me hard.
Since I have learned this, it has it made my life perfect and free of sickness and pain. YES IN CHRIST, but not always in my flesh. I have many affliction in my life, that I brought on myself that the Lord is healing me of, as I become more and more obediant to do His will in my life.
Since all this that the LORD has shown me in the last 8 months. I personally have witnessed healings (TOTAL) after we prayed for persons. 1 was 3 kidney stone’s GONE. Second one was cancer in my friends kidney. Dr. even got angry and called all the test a lie. He would not believe her cancer was gone. Not in remission GONE in the name of JESUS. She trusted the Dr. and let him take her kidney anyhow(no second opion). They sent the kidney in after they removed it for complete testing.
Results came back NO CANCER. Praise the LORD. I asked her what reason her Dr. used to explain taking the kidney. REMEMBER THERE WAS NO CANCER FOUND, NOT EVEN SIGNS OF THERE BEING ANY. He said: "this way you don’t have to worry about getting it". How sad to have to except that, after Dr. already took your kidney. ))))

Luke 11:4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.(KJV) CAN WE REALY DO THIS?
Matt 8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

Lord - I am asking for you to send your strength to Lorna at this time. Sending healing powers to her-give her strength and give strength to her family- somehow let her faith in her treatment help cure her cancer, - she has had a hard life, give her wisdom and courage and wrap your healing arms around her.

I stand in agreement for the healing and strength for Lorna. I continue to stand for Susan to be healed also.
Little boy Brice, 5 years old, close friend and distant realitive. Complained of pain in eye then couldn't see out of it. took him to hospitle. Day after rushed him to childrens hospitle to remove his eye. Full of cancer. Mother single parent needs peace and comfort. Bless all those in need of healing and anything else they need. Praise the Lord. In Jesus Name. Amen

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Were still standing in for little Bryce, he is doing well. They removed his eye and believe they got all the cancer. It was a really freaky type of cancer for anyone to ever have to go through.
Any kind of cancer is awful for anyone to go through. Bryce will receive a clear eye for now untill they get one made just right for him. He is doing well and enjoying life as a 5 year old does this 4th of July.
To see him you would never know anything happened, he acts as if everything is just fine and like always.
I pray that all those who are battling cancer today they to as a 5 year old can go on as bryce. I pray that they are able to be pain free and to be healed of this awlful disease.
Susan, Lorna and anyone else I continue to remember you daily. Praying for your healing. What ever the Dr's have to do, I pray that God will guide there hands and there minds to do what is right for each one.
Let the healing begin IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

As we near this Christmas season may be remember we are forgiven. Jesus gave us the most precious gift of all- a way to enter heaven, he did this with his life. May we remember this is what Christmas is all about. Not the tree, not the decorations, not the meals, not the traditions of gift exchange but the most ultimate gift of all the birth of our Jesus the Christ. We are forgiven not because of who we are, but for who he is.
As we set around our family dinner may we be sure to invite the guest of honor our Father and our Savior.
To all my friends I bid you a happy, fun filled, Christmas filled with love and fond memories.
I pray that you all are well and I hope to see this place once again filled with all of us. If you find yourself to busy to post here that is not a problem, just remember us in your prayers as I remember you in mine.
