    Friday at last...even though I had a weird week with Tuesday off for Veterans Day I still feel like this week has lasted forever.  Off to the gym tonight, I need to make up for some lost time.

    I got my flu shot the other day and the nurse warned me about feeling tired afterwards (so I went home and not to the gym).  That means I haven't been since Monday.  I did get 35 minutes cardio then, and on Tuesday took a 35 minute sprint around the park...but not much to speak of since then.  I can't believe this is me saying it, but I miss the exercise!  Yikes, who have I become?  LOL

    Tonight will be cardio and lower body, tomorrow cardio then Sunday cardio and upper body.  All three are likely to have additional ab work thrown in.

    Food this week has been a dud.  OK at the beginning of the week but once the turkey burgers ran out I fell flat.  TOM is now past and I'll be heading to the grocery store after the gym so I can re-stock the shelves at home.  Looking forward to starting again fresh.

    Kids and I are going to visit my Mom and Dad on Sunday.  They asked if my kids could rake their leaves.  Should the rain stop, we won't have a problem, but I'm not seeing it clearing up any time soon. Fingers crossed.  Oh, well...lunch and a basketball game on TV at grandma's house I guess!

    Today is housework day for me.  I'm trying my best to avoid it and get sidetracked, but I guess I can't put it off much longer.

    I have'nt been very good this week, but my weight is stable. I am feeling quite a bit better, and my doctor's think I am fine an have just a few minor issues that I can take care of lack sleep cycles, eating, exercising, quackapractor, so I feel a lot better, my stress level has gone down a bit.

    OK, I feel so stupid.  How many times have I messed with my tickers, now all of a sudden, I can't get the silly thing to paste and show in my signature.  What am I doing wrong?  I have copied each of the 'web codes' and pasted and submitted in my siggy, and none of them show the silly picture.  I had trouble last time, too, and I ended up having to just copy and paste, so it won't change when I change it at Ticker Factory.  Any help?  I looked back cause I remember (I think it was) Chris helping one of our newbies.

    Hi Everyone,

    Well, I'm in need of a second time serious go at this.  I made it to goal a while back then one thing let to another and another and I've gained back at least half as much as I lost.  

    It's been a while since I've weighed myself, in denial or playing ostrich or just plain avoiding what I already know. 

    I know this program works it worked before and it will work again.  I hope you'll all accept me in as this looks like a good group which will give me what I need to make this happen again. 

    Today I spent the day cooking and have my freezer and fridge packed with on plan easy to access meals.  Tomorrow will be the biggy, I will weigh in and update my profile.

     A little about me: I live in the beautiful Northwest in Eastern Washington, I love it here the mountains are wonderful. I'm single, 54 years old, no children, and two cats to keep me company.  I'm a very avid motorcyclist spending the majority of my time out riding when I'm not working.  Oh yeah, I work in an office doing A/P type of work which is extremely boring for me since I don't like numbers but it pays the bills and supports my motorcycle habit.

    It will be nice getting to know all of you while we encourage each other.

    Welcome Sherry, glad to have you join us!  We're psyching ourselves up for a healthful holiday season.  Next Monday we'll be entering into a 6-week holiday challenge, but this week we're getting ourselves into the right mindset.  You're doing well by planning your meals ahead.  A big step in the right direction!

    Hi everyone, just a quick check in to see how everyone did with last week's cardio challenge.  I personally had to work to get in all of my regular minutes,  never mind the extra ones.  But I did prevail and logged 192 cardio minutes.  My exercise schedule was all off.  First because of Tuesday being Veterans day and I didn't go to work so didn't stop off at the gym.  Great.  That was supposed to be my lower body/ab workout day.  No gym scheduled for Weds, so Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday had to take the brunt...WHEW!

    Week 3 - Intersession

    I think we ought to devote this week to flushing out all of the ick in our systems.  For the third intersession week, we will be focusing on getting in 110 oz water per day.  That'll get things going!

    Hi, Sherry.  Welcome to the group.

    I have no problem drinking all the water and since I totally flubbed the cardio challenge, I am going to give myself a double challenge for the water and the cardio this week.

    Sorry for the short note, but must get back to work before the boss checks in on me.  I'll check back later.

    sorry i haven't checked in all week!! been so busy--- helping my mom out a lot as we are having a Mary Kay/ Homemade Gifts open house this coming weekend--- I sell the Mary Kay Cosmetics and my mom makes the awesome gifts!

    school's been awesome but busy grading research papers... can you believe a student (12th grade Honors class) told me that both Michelle Obama and Cindy McCain died in car accidents and the dads are now single dads raising their kids.. AMAZING!! He must have been daydreaming every class for the last 16 months!!!

    I weighed in this week at 153-- no change from last week. ate wrong on sat and sun.. everything else was POP and water galore!!
