Hello, I sort of dropped off for a while, but I am back. Hope there is still room for me!

I am OP for everything except one meal until Monday. then I will be POP and even start exercising! I have been doing pretty good with the water for the past 3 days, of course it is over 100 degrees and I don't have air conditioning! So, I am drinking gallons! And running to the restroom every 15 minutes (I know, that doesn't count as exercise! LOL)

Well, the BBQ for the 4th will be on the 5th, but I will stay OP as much as possible!

    Have a safe a great 4th!

    Good Morning Ladies,

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I really enjoyed the restaurant for my Dad's 66th Birthday on Saturday - indulged a little on multigrain bread and honey butter (yum) and a nice martini... Had halibut and spinich and only tasted the mashed potato that had sour cream and chives mix in... and two perfect cups of coffee! For me that was a really responsible off program meal and I don't feel guilty at all...

Even though I really started on program on Tuesday, I'm going to weigh in on Mondays. Today I'm at 332! That is 10 down!!!!! Not bad considering Saturday and not drinking enough water yesterday... Can't wait for the next 10lbs to be gone... maybe I will start walking today as well... Cool

Good Morning everyone and Happy Weigh in Day!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on your 10lbs that is awesome.  I had a wonderful holiday weekend except for all of the late spring cleaning...hehehe.  I was able to stay POP even while the family cooked on the grill.  Today is week number 5 and I am down another 6lbs.....woohoooo!!!!!!!!!!!  That makes a total of 33lbs.  I measured last night and I have lost 8inches just in my waist.  I am so excited I can barely contain myself.

I hope everyone has a great day today.   We CAN do this!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Good Morning:

It sounds like this was a great weekend plan wise for all ya'll! I am so very happy for you and very encouraged! I had it in my head I was starting today, but forgot I am still on vacation....one more day....I will get my salads made today, I have my chicken made, grapefruit ready, and the fish is thawing as we speak! I will start the mini makeover tomorrow! I am hoping this will give me a jump start....and it will be easy to stick with it at work for the rest of the week! I have been doing great with the water, except yesterday. We had our family 4th of July BBQ (I know, it was the 5th!) and I didn't get my water in. I paid for it too, headache, feet swollen, joints hurt....so back to my water today! Angel

Well, I need to finish with my house cleaning project. It has cooled off a bit, I had to close my windows it got down to 45! It has been over 100 for the past week, now the high today is only going to be about 75! But, I should get more done since it won't be so hot! My kids keep telling me to get air conditioning, but we only have about a week or really hot weather and I think we just had it! LOL

Time to get busy, talk with all of you soon!

    Hey Peggy,

Just wanted to direct you to a thread about starting with the MMO.  Not a good idea, I think it may end up slowing you down in the long run.  Here is what BMOS says about it.

    http://forums.provida.com/6weekbodymakeover/noticetoalldontstartwiththemmo_22597/reply.html

But at any rate, good luck with the plan, it won't be long until you reach your goal!

    Shellie,

Thanks for the input and the link. I have been on again off again for the past month. My biggest problem is not eating while I am at work. I am thinking at least this will give me something to eat, and if I just do it one day at a time hopefully I will get moving in the right direction. For my evening meal I will probably eat OP not the mmo! I am just having a really hard time sticking to this since chemo. And being a former D, I have re-tested as an A, and (strangely) I crave FISH among other things!!

I am hoping I can get back to my OP habit, that is how I did it the last time. I just kept telling myself I could do anything for a week, then the next week, then the next week! I lost every single week for 12 weeks, I lost over 50 pounds.

Shellie, I am looking at your before and after (and you look FABULOUS) and I know there is hope for me! I have 105 to lose....and frankly I don't really care about the pounds, I want to feel like myself again. I want the pain in my feet and legs to stop, my back to quit hurting and I want to wear the closet full of "after" clothes I bought before the chemo!

I will give it a shot for a couple of days, doing the mmo for everything but evening meal and go back OP if I can't do it!

Thank you for caring, that is why I really like program. So many caring non-judgemental people who have 'been there' !

    Hi Ladies,

Sure hope everyone is doing well, it seems awful quiet here.  lol  I am doing well today and staying POP.  I haven't done my exercises in a couple of days due to my son having his tonsils removed and playing mommy nurse.  hehe  I am hoping to get some walking in tonight if he is feeling ok.

Gotta get back to work but wanted to drop in to say hi.

    Take Care

    BJ

Thanks Peggy and congrats on your 5 lbs!!!!!!!!!!   That is awesome.   Are you feeling the energy yet??  I love the energy I feel it's amazing.  Well today was another POP day so I am feeling great.  At lunch I walked 2.5 miles so my legs are a little sore but tonight I will get back on the Wii Fit and do the Basic Step for 300 steps.  I just feel so motivated to exercise, which is so different for me.

Sure hope everyone is having a wonderful POP day.

    Hi everyone,

I just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing?  It's been awful quite lately.  Well today was a wonderful but busy day for me.  I am stopping by the gym tonight since I was unable to work out at lunch.  I am still feeling great and loving my new eating habits.  My clothes are starting to feel baggy which is a great feeling.  Sure hope everyone else is doing well also.  I will check in again tomorrow.

    Happy Friday!!!!!!!

Well it was another great day and I am feeling wonderful.  I am finally on the verge of buying new pants.  I can now take my jeans off without unbuttoning them.  Wow that feels amazing.  We are supposed to finally get rain this weekend so I will stay inside and work out on the Wii.  Boy do I love that game.  Well I will try to check in this weekend but if not I will catch up on Monday.
