    Good morning Nor'Easters ~

Just popping in before the day really gets started. I've been up for several hours now, and find that I am not sleep....not yet anyway. I've got an out of town guest....whose asleep. Spatz is not happy with me right now....he left me several "presents" and his punishment is not to get off of his couch.

He's letting me know he's not happy, but neither am I since he knows better. Such is life.

Have a great holiday today all and stay POP if you can. If not, enjoy it, but get right back on Plan. That's the bveauty of this plan....if you mess up, you can get right back on with little or no damage to your eating plan.

    Have a great one everyone!

Update..... After careful consideration, I have re~evaluated the terms of our pool party icon eligibility.  Due to the fact that we are missing so many dormies, I asked our pool guys to help us fill our pool for our party.  That means we needed to fill less on our part.  SO..........

In plain terms, I am a big ole softy and EVERYONE who earned 500 or more points may claim the icon.

I'll be back later.  Our neighborhood does a little parade each year and I got up late.  Gotta hop in the shower and get dressed before it starts.

Good morning, all!  I hope you all had wonderful 4th of July's!  It started out shaky here b/c it rained for our parade and most of the morning.  It finally cleared up early afternoon.  We ended up bringing all our dinner stuff over to our neighbor's house and we had a big neighborhood bbq.  It was fun.  The ladies and I spent the night in the hot tub watching fireworks (pool was a tad too chilly).  I was not POP, but didn't too badly.

I do have a shopping triumph.  Friday, I spent the day by myself.  NICE!  I need some shorts and tops for vacation and a new bathing suit.  Went to my favorite store on earth...Kohls.  Found a couple pair of bermuda shorts and some tanks to match.  Went to bathing suit department..always dread that.  I was looking around and saw the cutest TWO PIECE!  I looked at it for a long time, decided that I had really nothing to lose by trying it on.  Mind you, I haven't worn a two piece since my honeymoon almost 15 years ago.  Anyway, go to the dressing room, put it on and I didn't hate it!  I was texting pics from the dressing room to my best buddy (met on Provida) in Maryland.  It was too funny!  She convinced me to buy it.  I'm still in shock.  I even wore it this weekend!  I'm sure I'm not the Cindy Crawford of the neighborhood, but it was a big triumph for me that I am starting to finally feel comfortable in my own skin regardless of not being "perfect" in society's eyes.  Hubby told me if I felt good, then I should't worry about what other people think.

I also bought a couple cute simple teeshirt type dresses.  Everything was size Large or 14!  Last year this time I was almost the same weight, but all the things I wore are too big, so things are shifting around somewhere.  LOL!

Anyway, enough of my babbling.  I have to get laundry done.  I still haven't packed anything for anyone, but Rosie (her trip to kennel/dog spa).  LOL!  I have to drop her off tomorrow late afternoon and we head out early Tuesday morning.  I'll be back later today.

    Good afternoon Dormies:

I  first want to apologize for not being in contact during my vacation. It was very frustrating not to be able to get on the forum.  I wish I had because without the contact with my friends I went off the plan.  I did gain but it is mostly fluid I am sure.  My fingers and ankles are swollen.  We left Myrtle Beach at noon yesterday and arrived home at 9PM just in time for fireworks surrounding our house.  We live on the water and they were everywhere.  I accept my consequences of going off plan.  I think most of the gain is from the wine I drank, but to be honest with everything I have been through I needed to enjoy the company and drink the wine.  I lost my uncle while I was on vacation and my aunt did not think it was necessary for us to come home.  She understood and knew Uncle Henry would too.  So I am back on plan and will not stray.  Sorry if I let anyone down.  I do not feel I let myself down because I knew what I was doing.

Deb Congratulations on your shopping spear.  I got a few cute dresses while I was on vacation.  They were 16’s and can be taken in.  Now this time last year I was a 24 so I felt good.

I am not even going to try to catch up on the posts.

    Hugs SAM Cool

Hey gang!  I think I'm all caught up with icons, awards, and such.  The News post should have everything you need as well.

Please get your stats posted as soon as you can Monday, so I can get the spreadsheet done before I head out on vacation Tuesday morning.

I'll try to get back here tonight.....we are headed out for a little dinner before my son's LAST basketball game of the season.

I still haven't packed anything yet.  Have a mental list though.  LOL!
