    My goal for this week~ keep busy and talk myself out of cravings.  It only takes 2 minutes to re-direct my thinking to a healthier choice.  I am going to cut up some fresh veggies to have on hand to grab.  Bought some wonderful tea to driink in the evenings.  Night time is hard for me because of old habits.

    Hey Team,  I'm baack!  From a much needed weekend alone with DH.  Thanks to you all for your Anniversary wishes and Happy Anniversary to you Kimmer and Happy Birthday Kathy!  i'm going to try to catch up on the posts but please, please forgive me if I seem to overlook anyone right away.

    My choice for badges is #3 also.  Sue, thanks so much for doing these for us.

    Thanks to all who have gotten their beginning stats in all ready.  Makes our job so much easier.  Was it hard to face that scale and tape measure?  It was for me.  I say though, that this is the WORST that it will ever be again! 

    Raven~  Great goal for this week.  Be careful with all that rock!

    Kat,  Great job.  I love to hear that you are listening to your body and your needs.  Goal, here you come!

    A few have asked about WATP.  There are dozens of tapes to choose from.  I agree that if you are buying any buy the longer ones.  Saves $ and you can always work up to them.  They are great to just pop in and get the cardio in for the day.  I especially love the ones that do the "boosted" walking or a very light jog.  Great too are the Michael Thurmond Extreme Fat burning ones.  Just did the 30 minute one this morning with my w/o partner! 

    I'm with you Kim,  I love brown rice.  I cook up a big batch the first part of the week to save time.  White rice seems like just a special treat anymore.

    Cami,  Big Welcome to you!  Lovely room that you've picked out. Getting in the water is a great goal.  Do you use a big water bottle?  It helps me to keep track and I feel so good everytime I finish one.  I put a rubber band around it everytime I finish one and then I know that 32oz are down. you've started over for the last time, just stick with us!

    TeeAnna,  aquaaerobics is not technically considered to be Cardio but it is a great way to get in a workout, especially with your injuries.

    Tice,  you are so inspirational.  I'll have to try the 'floofs'.

    Sharma,  3 weeks out of town is a challenge. I travel alot.  I find that carrying hardboiled egg whites veggies and fruit in a mini-cooler helps.  So does taking my Magic Bullet with me on road trips.

    Mike,  thanks for sharing your story.  You will get to LL.  So sorry to hear about DS's dad.  That is so hard and so is cooking for others and not being able to play.

    Dana  LOVE the theme!  How is your back doing?

    Jody,  How did the BBQ go?  Thanks for covering for me this weekend.

    Welcome Lisa!  As a fellow Cat person, my hat's off to you for what you do for rescue kitties.  I don't think I could ever give them up!  15# should be very attainable this term.

    Ronnie,  Welcome to our dorm.  So glad that you started with us this term.  Vampires?  How fun

    Hello everyone, just checking in today.  Hopefully I'll be able to tomorrow as well, but it's a traveling/shopping day.  I'm flying in to Phoenix, stopping at Costco, Walmart & Albertson's, driving 2 hours to Yuma, then probably die... lol  So it's possible I won't be here.  Just found out yesterday that I have to get a passport to be able to go into Mexico and back.  I've used my driver's license and birth certificate in the past.

    After all the beautiful choices (and even though I submitted one) I like #3 badge the best, #2 is a close second, though. 

    Welcome late arrivals!  Good to have you here!  Congrats on everyone's planning activities.  I think that's more than half the battle.  It seems that if I have it planned and prepped (at least in my mind) I seem to stay on track better.   Automobile

    Cami, I'm going to load up my zune before I leave for AZ.  I'm going to add that Inside Out Weightloss to the mix. 

    I like the idea about putting a rubber band around your water glass.  I'm sure I've been getting enough water as my husband is constantly giving me a hard time about how much I drink.  I know I fill up my 20oz bottle at least 6-7 times a day.  However, that's an easy way to know exactly how you did.  While I'm traveling I'll be using bottled water, so I'll keep track that way. 

    Kim:  I've spent my fair share of time eating brown rice.  It's nice and nutty. I never really minded the cooking time myself.  I just love white rice/bread/sugar.... lol   At least I can have one of them Smile
