Yvonne, I don't usually have trouble with the water, but I know a lot of people do. I try to drink a 24 oz (700 ml) bottle with each of my meals. It's easy with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Snacks it's a little harder. If I can get 3 in by the end of lunch, then the rest is easy. I only need one more bottle plus a glass to finish up the day.
Have you tried drinking water at different temps? Or using a straw? Or a bottle vs. a cup or glass? If you're not peeing that much, it seems like you aren't getting enough. In this hot weather, I drink more than what's recommended.
Today I had good intentions of getting some cardio in. I knew I needed to cook up some rice and veggies so I started that before I left to workout. Then I lost track of what I was doing and am now stocked for at least a week, maybe more. I had to freeze a bunch of the food since there's no way I could eat it all before it went bad. I think missing the exercise today might have been worth it.

Hello Everyone!
Sorry that I haven't been around for the last few days...sickness in the house...all 3 children and me. Also had to contend with the last day of school and I'm trying to get packed and ready to leave for a wedding this weekend. It is out of town and we are hoping to leave tomorrow. And if that isn't enough, PMS kicked in yesterday...UGH!!! I'll survive everything but I'm not sure that I will like the scale come Monday morning.
I will try and post when I'm away but if you do not hear from me, I have not disappeared. I will be back as soon as I can!
BTW, WELCOME to the new members!

WELCOME LYNN! I'm thrilled you fluttered over to Provida and the BEGIN AGAIN thread! I remembered adding you to our "Walking Across America" challenge, and renaming it to "North America", and then you fluttered away. WELCOME TO OUR NEW HOME!
I will be back in a bit with responses for Wednesday. My husband had a late night flight to the East Coast, and I'm just heading to bed. I'm sure Kathleen is up by now thought lol. SEE EVERYONE ON THURSDAY!

Good Morning!
Welcome Lynne to our group. I have been doing much better since I joined this thread. I'm down 4 pounds so far! I've been POP and getting in my cardio/toning.
Isn't it funny that some of our kids have the same name....fate I'd say. My son is a Hunter and my daughter an Aislinn.
Well, I'm feeling better about the rework I need to get done and optimistic that I'll get it done. I'm traveling next week for training so I need to prep for that over the weekend and make some portable meals. I travel quite a bit so this has become second nature to me over the last two years.
Hope you all have a great day!

Jan, I've struggled a bit going from a B to a D, however, the last few times I was eating as a Body Type B and never saw the scale move or inches disappear, all while I was working out too ... I was getting nauseous and generally not feeling well after working out and found out I was eating incorrectly for pre-workout meal. So long story short... I've just changed up to following Body Type D the last few days and this morning I saw the scale move in the right direction ... DOWN! I love that! I've resigned myself to not working out for one week to allow my body to adjust and next week I'll restart my workout ... even though working out is difficult for me to get started, once I get used to in, I'm back in and miss it when I don't work out. I usually do 30 minutes treadmill 6 days a week and 3 days a week free weights. Ilook forward to sharing ideas.
Yvonne, I've always liked that name. Water has always been the easiest part for me and not a lot comes easy ... Anyway, this is what I do to get the water in: A.M. - Breakfast and Workout = 2 bottles (24 oz.) A.M. - Before lunch = 1 bottle P.M. - Lunch = 1 bottle P.M. - before I get home from work = 1 bottle P.M. - If I only had 1 bottle of water at breakfast and workout, I have 1 bottle with dinner. The more water I get in during the day, gives me a bit more rest at night, not having to get up so much through the night.
Lynne, welcome aboard, I certainly understand the not get to eat/drink. I hope we can share ideas on ways to conquer that. One thing I picked up from another thread a while back was someone had this perfect container that measured out 2 oz of powdered egg whites; in a pinch, they could mix that in with some Crystal Lite, shake it up in a bottle of water and they would be good for a bit. I've never found the perfect container; however, that idea has come in handy a few times. I know Crystal Lite does not account for water intake but it certainly helps the taste of dried egg whites.
Jules, looks like we have similarities with our water intake; it works!
Tammy, hang in there, you sound like a strong woman who pulls through.
Holly, I'm sending lots of energy your way for the rework you're doing. I hope it goes quickly and you are able to have some rest for yourself. I am so looking forward to some of your tips on portable meals when traveling, just how do you do that when you're on the go? That is where I really need to improve is when I'm on the go, when I'm training and in too many meetings to count, how do I fit in the food? I really need portable ideas that I can eat in a meeting or training (really a drink of some sort).
Looking forward to the day, must get started ... later
-Edy

Good afternoon all,
Fortunately, I am not having the water issue I was having yesterday. Normally, I do not have water issues but yesterday was uncanny. I have been POPin along. After church last night, I actually went to a resturant with friends and I stayed OP. I will be attending a spinning class after work today. Now that is a workout but I love it but not the little seat on the bikes. I purchased a gel bike seat cover for that tiny seat. Hopefully, it is help my butt not hurt so much. Any one else taking/took a spinning class?
Yvonne

Goodday everyone: I finally received a huge gas BBQ I'm so happy I can start grilling up a storm I had grilled chicken breast with grilled sweet potatos, and a salad, what a yummy simple meal, the chicken cooks in about 7 minutes.
Edy – I have a blender bottle, its really cool because there is a wisk ball in the bottom that mixes just like a blender, its great for homemade salad dressing and would mix powdered egg whites quite easily.
Now its time for dishes, and then sculpting, my favourite part of the day. Have a great Night
Tammy, I hope you and the kids feel better soon. Have a good time at the wedding and try to make good choices while there.
Paula, I'm glad your son's cheek is getting better. Do you try to eat breakfast when you first get up or wait until you're hungry?
Edy, I had a similar problem with body type. I was right on the edge of B and C. I tried really hard to eat like a B but didn't have a lot of luck. I was soooo hungry all the time I just couldn't stick to it. When I compared the 2 types, they are very similar, but C's get more carbs in the morning. As soon as I started the C plan, the weight just melted right off.
Yvonne, I've considered taking a spinning class at the gym. Is it like a stationary bike or is there more to it?
Lynne, does that put you between Windsor and Niagara Falls? I travel through there when I visit the family. It's so much shorter driving through Canada than going around Lake Erie?

The weekend is here again! Remember we weigh-in on Monday's sooo, use your weekend wisely! More on that later.
I have had another busy day/night and I'm JUST getting online, sooo, I will have to get caught up with everyone's discussions during the day on Friday.
Oh, here is a hint of an upcoming post... DO YOU NEED TO BE CHUGGING MORE WATER???
Good afternoon everyone!
Just got finished picking more raspberries. Yummy! I'm off today and Monday, but I will need to do some work so I make my deadline of Tuesday. I plan to get a nap or two in there somewhere too. :)
When I travel, I make the oatmeal pumpkin muffins for my MAS and I take powdered egg whites/raspberry crystal lite for something resembling a smoothie for MMS. I typically ask for a fridge in my room if I can get one so I can take some chicken. First stop I make when I arrive is a grocery store for fresh fruit/veggies and you can usually find hard boiled eggs. I do eat dinner out, but specifically ask for what I want. I can't stand salt anymore...it makes the food taste horrible.
I do a lot of meetings as well and I've learned to just say I need a break when I need to eat. It usually works...you'd be surprised. I also just eat in the meeting. Most people I work with know that I eat six times a day so they don't say a thing about it. If someone asks me about it, I just say I have a blood sugar problem (which I did before this plan).
I hope you guys have a great weekend! I can honestly say I'm looking forward to weigh in on Monday....hint: I think I'm getting my avi back! Extra motivation for the weekend.
Holly, that's a very similar strategy I used the last time I traveled and was determined to stay OP. It worked really well.
Edy, I don't think carbs are as scary as the media has led us to believe. It's just a matter of choosing the right ones. As for me, if I don't have them, I'm hungry all the time and can't seem to control what I eat.
I had the day off today and had my car repaired. I brought some food, expecting it to be a wait of at least a couple of hours. It turned out to be 6.5 hours. I was offered a ride home so I took it. I was able to get some work done around the house, and being home, I also stayed POP. One more day down. I just hope the hormones don't interfer with the losses I've already had this week.
Jules - am located geographically between detroit & buffalo, check it out on the map, back in the heyday of the iron horse (trains) we were the hub, Thomas the Tank Engine comes to visit every summer because we have a great train history and small private function rail lines, St Thomas, ON, where Jumbo the Elephant was killed by a train.
Edy - here's the website for the blender bottle http://www.blenderbottle.com/ there are a couple of sizes of them, so enjoy.
I'm getting much better about cooking snacks ahead of time and putting in the fridge at work. At least when you own your own business no ones going to tell you you can't each, except its retail, and sometimes I can't get to the back to get food, but usually if its in the fridge I can get to it. Working all weekend on a big project, so I can't complain about being busy when so many people are not. Its about time for bed.
Goodnight ladies, hopefully we'll the sun soon.

Have a great, safe holiday everyone!
Kathleen, in rainy KS
My responses to Wednesday/Thursday/FridayJen, WELCOME to our "Begin Again" Crew. We will lose our regained weight TOGETHER! Wow, that NBU Summer Northwest hall was quite some time ago! I'm thrilled to see you stumbled on me again. That's awesome you did the infomercial after NBU. Jeanne is going down there July 12th for the newest infomercial. It's an experience we will never forget, however, we HAVE to get back to our "infomercial weight" for our health and self-esteem. WE CAN DO IT!Lynne, again WELCOME to our group! Do you have any great OP marinades you use when you grill chicken outside? I like to grill also.I'm glad you succeeding with bringing your snacks into your work and actually taking the breaks you need. I remember when that seemed almost impossible for you. HIGH FIVE!
Yvonne, What I have noticed when I don't pee enough... it's my body's way of "retaining water". Just keep chugging and you will get to "that point" that your body finally will give up the fight and react like it's supposed to.Let us know how that "spinning class" went this week. Edy, NBU 2003 Koalas! Yeah, That was Kathleen's starting point for 6wbmo and working with me in the threads. I'm thrilled you stumbled on us again! You teetered between Body Type B and D huh? I'm glad to hear you are having success with the Body Type D this week and your scale is going DOWN! I have some more info I will share later in the weekend. Just have to find the time to type it up! ("type the type info" lol) It's interesting that you and Jules have the same water schedule! High Five for getting a lot of cooking done. Yes, it's a huge accomplishment. Thanks for sharing!Jan, Hmm, you are between a Body Type B and D also huh? I haven't heard of this before. Interesting that both you and Edy had this situation, and you both "feel" better on the "D" plan!OP Salsa Recipes for a salad topper? Hmm, I have never made any, wonder if anyone else has?Holly, Listening to Mary with "speaker pillow" and your Ipod? That sounds like a great way to reprogram your habits. WHERE did you get "speaker pillow? So, you are shifting betwen Body Type B and C huh? Glad you got some advice from Dolores about "Body Types". I hadn't heard the "go with the lower number" advice before. I'm glad to hear you are doing much better since you joined our thread. That makes me feel good, knowing I'm helping facilitate success.FOUR POUNDS gone by Wednesday! That is great!Great advice on "portable meals". Maybe we should have a day next week that we all focus on "portable meals"?Jules, good for you getting your cooking in. I have had those times when I had to choose between cooking and exercise also...gotta face it, if you don't have your FOOD you can't stay OP, the exercise can be "made up" the next day, and actually is a small percentage of "the plan". Soo, HIGH FIVE! You and Edy were in the kitchen together I see! It's interesting to see your "water schedule". I'm the opposite. I don't touch my water at meal time. I have never liked drinking during meals. However, I enjoy drinking from my water bottle "all day long".So, your body type test came out between a B and a C huh? Again, I will get the typing info typed up. I did the "6wbmo Personal Trainer" course that was offered a few years back, and the training book they used gave some great "descriptions" about the different body types, not just questions that get scored like the online Body Type Test.Tammy, sorry to hear your family was sick and PMS hit while you were getting ready for vacation. Hope all is well now though.Jeanne, Hope all is well. Looking forward to hearing from you.Paula, glad Hunter is doing better now. I bet you are busy getting ready for the baby shower on Sunday. Hope you find time to stop in and post though.Kathleen, thanks for that great "4th of July" graphic this morning.Okay gals, our group is growing and shrinking. We have TWELVE members now, and we are LOSING the weight! How fantastic is that! Let's keep it up!BEGIN AGAIN, LOSE AGAIN, TOGETHER!
Well I was going to say Happy 4th to my friends to the South, but that would leave out Susan, so I guess I just say Happy 4th. I love fireworks, we had ours on Wednesday, July 1, Canada Day.
I have to work this weekend, so I'm up early on a Saturday to do some cooking to take into the store with me. I'm back enjoying rice pudding my favourite MMS and I'm keeping hard boiled eggs at the store protien is my friend.
I find I get pretty boring at the beginning of my plan, I find security in the basics then I branch out a little with some creativity.
Gotta get cooking... enjoy your day.
