    geez i come in and thought i did something wrong again...sniff sniff..wheres my dunce hat???

    i think they upped the snow to 18 inches not sure..my dad hasnt been home since he left for work friday morning...he is a supervisor and supervises the guys plowing snow..lol..fun fun..i thought he would be home tonight though..not sure..havent heard from him..schools are closed tomorrow..this is the most snow we've EVER gotten...i'm worried i wont find anything at the store to eat on my diet...we all know how little of it i got anywayz...yikes...one lettuce leaf per meal?? lol

     Hello girls!!!!!Hope everyone's day has been POPin good!!Got the kids fed and the hubby is taking a nap before work.Fixing to eat my MAS think I will do french toast eggs and apple sauce!This is like one of my favs!!!I didn't think I would like it but tried it the other day and YUM.I heat the applesauce up and pour over the"french toast"and it is really good.Giggal I hope you find some food tonight and hope your dad comes home sometime soon.Maybe the snow misses you guys you really dont need anymore!Did you go sit in the corner like Gail told to you to!hehehehe

    Well gonna go get my snack and drink me some more water.

    Busy..sorry i totally missed your reply...no i cant even get to the site...i normally leave the window up and just refresh..and it'll come up saying no service and i keep refreshing and keep getting it..until i get lucky...

    beth..yeah my dad finally came home about 6 tonight..he normally comes home just after 3...we are expecting up to 18 inches..almost the same amount as what we got..i'm very excited..lmaooo..

    i sooooo got beano..came home and took some...i picked up one cute little container of it and my moms like you only need 12..i chucked that..i picked up another...but the box was all messed up..and wont pick those...picked up the next one..saw the 100 tablets..i was like ONE HUNDRED ALLL RIGHT! ..i slightly forgot where i was..lmao walmart was sooooooooo empty..and i meant the shelves...no eggs..not even egg whites..no butter yogurt bread..they were just filling in milk..i mean they had nothing...i got everything i put on the list that i could think of...except the egg whites..ugh crap!!! i got garlic but somehow thats disappeared..i dunno if it fell out somewhere or what..so no dressing yet or tofu...omg i was wanting NSA tomato paste...they didnt have any..so i just picked up regular..i needed food at this point and it was crowded and lack of choices...well mom picks up one can and it was like 20mgs...i looked on mine..cause it was the garlic basil tomato paste..and it had 290!!!..my moms like i dunno why we are looking for NSA paste 20 seems low enough!...darn right..i was like where did you get it!..i got a few cans of that..

    so i may have to babysit again tomorrow morning like today..my niece never did make it over..my brother couldnt get out of his driveway...i'm pooped..

    I hope Gail doesn’t catch you again.  As long as the can says less than 30 mg of sodium, it counts as NSA.  There is natural salt in some veggies.  Walmart brand (great value) tomato paste has 20 mg, therefore it is OP.  Remember this for all your canned products.  Have you been looking over your black book?  Sorry you couldn’t find egg whites.  That totally sucks.  So much snow.  Try to stay on plan as much as possible, but you can’t starve yourself (you are only telling your body to start storing fat).  So eat, especially if you are snowed in.   I hope that garlic shows up.  It’s going to suck to find it frozen outside.  It might still be good. LOL!  Glad your dad finally made it home.

     Hello again!Hehehe I think this is one of my fav past times now!Check up on everyone and look around on the other post.It really keeps me positive and I am like you Giggal I like the company.I am a stay at home mom and the boys are in school and I really dont go anywhere(my 2 BFFS kinda vanished when I fell over dead on them we was gone on a girls weekend away and I kinda shopped till I dropped!Probably shouldn't have took that saying literally!heheheh)haven't been out and about in so many years I really have no one or no where to go.So I stay home.Cant wait till warmer weather so I can get out.

    Giggal glad your dad finally got to come home!I can only imagine how bare Walmart shelves were.We are getting some snow now but the worse is suppose to be tomorrow evening into Wednesday.Hope your Bean O works!LOL

    Man I really miss my cereal tonight!!SO BAD!!I hadn't till tonight I guess 5 days without and my body wants to know what the crap!But I will be brave and behave!

    i just go as low as i can possibly find..i needed food..20mgs is better then 290..and i didnt like the 290 much..but i also needed food especially when so much is gone off the shelves..i wanted to stay on the plan as much as possible till i had other options..so thats why..i still remember lots from the black book from when i've done this years ago..and periodically tried..sometimes i feel so ...uhhhh should i say deprived..it annoys me that i have to find something sometimes so impossible around this side of the us..lol...i can sit here and gripe how i hate how my family can just go into the kitchen and pull something out and eat it..and their a size 2..while i'm once again beating eggs...and cooking in the oven..and i have 20 dishes..when what i get to eat is the size of my hand..and 20 minutes later i'm hungry again..i never ate or stuffed myself much hard to believe beings i'm overweight and on a diet..i could eat 5 pizzas if you put it infront of my face and told me too...if i break my diet i can eat more then if i wasnt on the diet lol..or way of life..something like that...i'm tired..so my filter has been misplaced lol..sorry yes beth i go through that..i love cheese..i cant even munch on a cube of cheese..or something its hard sometimes because my family is like just EATTTTTT their practically throwing food at me for me to eat..you'd think i'd be 50 pounds less by now.. its just hard..and then they pull out some things to eat infront of me..and i'm like oh come on seriously??

    Beth—Do you know if we can have cereal when Living Lean?  I’m not a big cereal fan, you know it has to be that good stuff, and I would rather eat oatmeal.  However, I do like Type B’s first 2 meals.  Protein and fruit.  It’s fast and easy.  And trying to get the boys in gear, I don’t have time to cook anything in the morning. 

     

    I am a stay at home mom now too.  I do, however have 21 month old twins, so life is always busy.  I do have to say that they are on a schedule (the boys weren’t) so naptime was from 10-1ish, and has moved up to 11:30-whenever.  Gives me more time to do stuff in the morning.  Tomorrow is supposed to be really cold (DFW area) and maybe icey.  I need to go to Costco.  But on Thursday, they say we may get snow.  Which means it melts into ice!  Texans and ice don’t mix.

     

    Today has been POP, but tomorrow is weigh in day.  Nervous!!!  My a-r-s-e still hurts!  And my thighs.  Jello.

    Giggalz--don't worry about not being able to have certain foods.  I haven't looked at living lean, but you will eventually get to add stuff back in.  If you add things back in that are not on plan, just watch your weight closely, and you'll know to cut it out.  You are getting closer to your goal.  Hang in there.  Before you know it, we will be posting in the Living Lean Forum!!!!  Embrace the cooking!  It is my quiet time, even though the kids are screaming throughout the house.  I guess it's more like "ME" time.  Love it.

    i cant wait till living lean...although i've never been there so i'm not sure what to expect or do or what..besides figure out what and what not to eat...i made granola yesterday and it was mighty good..and pretty much didnt follow the plan and had a carb with almost every meal..lmao..i hate to admit that i didnt have any light headed or dizzy spells yesterday..it was such a longgggggggggg day ...i was zonked by the time i came home from walmart...i found a protein shake mix (i know more right) its in triple chocolate...but its jillian michaels from biggest losers show...with the lack of egg whites..and their expecting more more more snow..another blizzard i assume...i'm afraid i will run out of egg whites..so i dunno...i'm still kind of sleepy...and my nieces arrival has gotten all the kids awake etc...except my mom..weird...okay so this post really was nothing to do about 6wbm...lol..i never did get to weigh in or measure this morning...i wasnt expecting to do all of this again...anyways..i'm gonna post this up..wait for beth to reply lol..and then get in trouble for eating off pop by not having snacks but eating granola all day...you know after i made them..i was letting them cool off...mom starts popping them in her mouth..i said now mom you know these have to be proportioned out right lol..she still popped it in her mouth...oh well..lol

     Good afternoon!Sorry I am so late getting on today but I kinda just crawled out of bed!I woke up so sick but after a little more sleep I am good.Go figure my body so has a mind of its own!

    Giggal.....girl granola all day!!!Well it was just one day so get back to POPin today!But at least it is one more thing ya know ya like.And glad you didn't have any dizzy spells yesterday.You know I have low blood pressure anyways so if I cut out to much salt I get dizzy and stuff real bad.In our book it says to carry salt packs around with you when you get to feeling dizzy to eat a pack or two.You may want to try that to see if it is your BP. Once a day I use one of my "old"spices that include salt in it(Emerald's is my fav)and it seems to have worked and I haven't retained any water doing that.But if you fiind you have low BP find a way to add you some salt unless u can stand to eat it plain.Then adjust till you get the amount you need.OK now I feel like I just gave a lecture!hehehe.Now dont eat carbs all day today remember I can see you!!!LOL

    Busbyclan...I so love to cook to!!I all ways have and now I get to try all new things.My oldest son(at home)loves to cook to and check this out he came home from school,he takes home economics to learn more about cooking,and him an d his girl made this awesome chicken and he brought me a bite.It is Diet Dr.Pepper chicken!I hate Dr.Pepper but that chicken was killer!I am making some this week.

    Girls curiosity was killing me so I jumped on the scale again 7lbs!!!!!!So I know it is the first week but I the first 2 days were like 2lbs a day so the last 3 were like 1/2lb a day so I hope it stays around that.My official weigh day is Thursday so I will measure and weigh then and update my stats and get me a avi!!!I put on pair of my blue jeans that I use to have to about kill myself to get buttoned and zipped they slipped right on with a room to spare!!Oh Yeah! And the booty part was actually loose!That with in it self is awesome, I have all ways had a bubble booty.But been doing MT booty exercise for that a lot!Every time I am standing up for a few in the same place I do them.

    Ok sorry for such a long post but I do love chatting!!hehhe Giggal I hope you guys dont get a blizzard or us!Winds are suppose to get up to 40 mph today and tomorrow with all the snow burr!Ok I am going for now but yall know I will be back!!!

    Dawn...yes on the living lean we can have cereal!!! And good luck on weigh in today!!!!! I could not imagine having twins mine are all 5 years apart,we didnt plan it that way but I guess God did,lol,and they were days that I didn't have time to brush my teeth!

    Giggal I am sorry you are hungry all the time.You know in the black book it says if you get hungry to soon you might need to up your protien(but then again not so good for you there)but ask a bmos what your options are on upping your input of food.You know if you are eating to little for your body it is worse than to much!My hubby eats like a cow to,he eats a box of cakes,2 sandwiches,pudding,crackers and sometimes fruit for lunch at work!He eats non stop here to and we have been together for 18 years and he has went from a 29 waist all the way up to a 30!Get real!My parents and brother do me the same way about eating but luckily I dont live with them,Super Bowl was hard because they made it hard but they are all over weight and think it is killing them because I am doing something about it.But my kids and hubby are wonderful they only eat my favs in front of me after they ask,I tell them go ahead most of the time but man sometimes I just go take a shower while they eat all that good stuff!You know people who are not over weight and never have been dont all ways understand what a struggle it is and they think we can just fix it lose it mean while still eating like we all ways did.Just hang in there!!

    okay so i'm currently baking up carrots and tofu..yum ooo right?? uhhh..maybe..i kind of went off two of the bbq recipes...i dont have enough carrots to equal a cup..but their higher in sugar..so i kept it to like 1/4 maybe a half..i never ate carrots before on the diet cause they were to high..but i'm eating it anywayz..*makes faces at bmos*

    ps...tofu stinks funky...if i dont reply back...i'm sorry to say...it was the tofu's fault..

     Hello all!!

    Giggal hope the tofu didn't kill ya!LOL I have heard you can make it taste like anything you want with the right seasoning,but I don't know cause I have never tried it.They say it has no taste at all so you can do anything with it.Well at least it is the tofu stinking today right!!ROFLMBO!!!!!

    Well I can only say I have OP today because I was an hour late on a snack.We had  to take my hubby for a x ray and they told us 30 min.top well that turned into 2 1/2 because the x ray tech couldn't get his hip in the x ray so they had to find someone who could!I was so sick by the time I got home to eat I was ready to throw up.I don't think I have ever been that hungry in my life! Never again will I go any where without a snack with me just in case!I take them with me if I will be out and think I might not get back but I had plenty of time so I thought!He could have checked in the ER and had a x ray and been out quicker.Thats one good thing good about living in a small place you are usually in out of the ER in a hour or less!

    OK so I just ate chicken tenders,mushrooms and baked sweet tater was so good I think I will have the same for dinner tonight at midnight!

    I have a question,what do you do if you get up really late(like me today)and your 5th meal wont be till real late,do you stay up to eat it or what?I am usually up anyway but what if I wont be.Or here is something I deal with alot,what if you are up till 2 or 3 in the morning and your last snack was around 11(which is about norm for me)what do you do because you get hungry when that 3 hours come up.Do you not eat,eat a snack,a meal I was up the other night and just stayed hungry cause I didn't want to mess up.

    Ok I am going to go and play some Wii I will be back.

    IS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    okay dont get to excited..i've only had a few...the texture i kind of like in a way..and much better when its cooked..i baked the crapolie out of it..so the bbq is a little crusted on...the carrots..i tried to bake..first..but then realized it wasnt going to work..brought it to the stove for an hour..only to still eat it half cooked..next time i will boil them..lets just say the carrots cooked long enough that..all the sauce i put in the pot..plus water..eventually boiled down to just before it would burn in the pot..hehe..i'm kind of curious with the italian dressing how this would taste..now i've heard the same thing beth..i drained it ..then cubed it..put it on top of paper towels..and ontop..put heavy stuff ontop of it..for like ten minutes...then marinated it for another ten..it still has like a taste..tofu taste lmao...i dunno..just not feeling it today at all..i dont feel like eating..i'm far to tired..dont think i recovered from the 4 hours of sleep yesterday..just dont feel right..and cannot seem to get this blacked carrots and tofu down..sorry

     oh Giggal I am sorry your tofu was not to great.But hey at least you tried.You really never know what you will like till ya try.I hope you find some things you really like to eat,it would be so much easier for you.Maybe try the soup that Dawn said with some ground turkey in it.The veggies will flavor the turkey and maybe you would like it.Well at least we know you like granola,oatmeal cookies and meringue cookies! hehehehehe

     ok Giggal if you can eat the same things over and over(I can if I like them)you just need to find a veggie or two that you like and some fruit!And just eat the fire out of the free veggies at lunch and dinner.Do you like fruit and veggies?I cant recall.I hate this for you it makes me feel bad for you!I am such a big ole sap I will be boohooing before its over!LOL Please eat somethingCryingI hate to think of you sitting there hungry!Dont make me have to ski up there girl!LOL

    Sorry.  I thought I had posted it.  Still at 222.  5 lbs in one week, not too shabby.  3/4 in loss in each thigh, and the others weren't so significant.  YEAH! 

    I did my slow robics today, and I still hurt everywhere.  My muscles are going to get trained.  I think I have an inkling to what the Biggest Losers feel.  If I go to sit, I just plop.  And getting back up is a miracle.  My back muscles hurt!   I had to take Austin to Cub Scout's, so I will watch the BL tomorrow (love DVR).  Got the boys V-day cards, and forgot to get my husband one.

    I am sitting here trying to force down my dinner!Way to late at night to have to be eating like this!But i suppose if I sleep half the day its a price I am willing to pay!

    The snow is coming down hard and we already have about 2 inches with no relief in sight!Suppose to snow through early Thursday then again Saturday and then again Monday and Tuesday!So I am going to try a veggie soup tomorrow I really need a bowl of good hot soup!I have been good all day yay me!!
