    Now, for a word about the STATS THREAD

    I really need ALL 17 MEMBERS to be on board with this on Friday. I don't think you understand how many hours Shelia and I spend unnecessarily when you don't follow the directions. We are volunteers, don't get paid for our time, and are taking the time and energy and what brain power we have left at the end of the day LOL, to provide you with the best possible group and your PERSONAL PROGRESS RECORDED for you to benefit the most from your participation with us.
     
    So, with that said, I ask, plead, beg all 17 of us to be 100% accurate and 100% on time with your stats this Friday. As "Bob the Builder" says it best from Nickaloden tv... "Can we do it...YES, we can!"  LOL
     
    Instructions for posting stats
    1. FIRST copy/paste the entire CURRENT stats form (both the red and the green) into the reading thread
    2. SECOND go to the stats thread, and EDIT your ORIGINAL POST (please, please, don't start a new post) and PASTE your new Week #5 AFTER your previous Week #4, AFTER your previous Week #3, which is after your Week #2, which is after your Week #1.
     
    NOTE: Please do not use a previous week's form, because the questions are different each week. So, please copy the stats form for THAT I POST IN THE READING THREAD AND USE THE CURRENT FORM.
     
    NOTE: Please make sure you copy the GREEN part also into the stats thread. Many of you just copied the RED part. There is a reason I put the information on the stats form that I do. Part of the reason is for YOU and I to see your PROGRESS, part is for YOU and I to see your PARTICIPATION, and part is for ME to see the information I need.

    I'm very happy with my results with my waist. I lost a whole inch in FOUR DAYS! I didn't really focus on my hips (which is exercise #19 for me) and I'm not surprised at my 0" loss. I WILL be focusing on that one next week for sure.
     
    I love the fact that I can "Control my muscles". (LOL, you know, these are similiar to the "Kegel Exercises" they used to talk about for gyn) I can do these exercises anywhere and as often as I want. I don't have to have the bands.
     
    I love this challenge cuz IT WORKS WHEN YOU WORK IT! You see results FAST. And it brings back my confidence that the bands aren't that hard if I would just FOCUS on them, a little at a time. The key to not being "overwhelmed" is realizing you dont have to do everything at once. This Krunch Challenge just uses FOUR of the exercise. That is "attainable" and "realistic" to MASTER, and then go from there.

    Comments about the Cardio Challenge  Loved it. Gave me accountibility and motivation. Loved that it did the same for othes too.
     
    JANUARY
    My Successes, Accomplishments and Concerns I was able to trully and honestly get back on plan. Something I had "played with" for years. Feels good to lose 5 lb. this month. That was the rate that I was on when I first got on plan, and made it to goal. So, I'm ON TRACK. Wahooo
    What I liked most about being on Team 1-1-10 I liked being a MEMBER of the team, as well as the LEADER. I liked all the conversations and the posting. It's been awhile since I was in a group of this size. About 15 "active" people is the right amount for a good group.
     
    FEBRUARY
    Do I want to participate in Team 2-10? yes
    Areas I want to focus on in February "Personally, I'm personally going to focus on getting all my points in for the week. I'm doing "okay" in all areas. I'm going to "jump it up a notch" and continue to do MORE cooking, walking, toning. As far as the "group", I hope to see more "members helping members" by stepping up and working at a position.

    I really enjoyed the motivation and goal setting this week. I am not much into the daily reporting, mostly because I HATE keeping food journals. I dont much like the menu posting for the same reason. I cook up food, measure it and put it in my fridge in sections: protein, fruit, vegies, and carbs. THen when i want it i reach for it. All ready to go. 
     
    I enjoy the challenges, especially the ones like the incredible race, and I liked it when I was "buddied up" with someone and we worked together. There were two of us that were "late nighters" and we would connect online and "workout together" by using yahoo, and checking in before and after. A Cardio partner so to speak.

    Please share your thoughts on the Krunch Challenge, the individual exercises, your effort during the week, and your results:  I enjoyed doing the Challenge.  I work my abs really hard in my cardio/toning class that I attend 3 days/wk so I'm sure some of loss was related to that and not just the challenge.  I really liked working the Obliques.  I only did 3 days of the challenge instead of 4 but as I mentioned I also did 3 days extra w/ my other class.  I lost 1" in my waist and 1" in my hips!

    Comments about the Cardio Challenge - I enjoyed the Cardio Challenge.  Wish I could have walked more but I think I was having some overtraining issues and then developed a stomach virus and have not felt well this week at all.
     
    JANUARY
    My Successes, Accomplishments and Concerns: I lost 9.5 lbs, and 11.75 inches!  Have gotten more involved in this thread and with posting which I had never done before and really enjoy it.
    What I liked about being on Team 1-1-10: I like being part of a team and being accountable to people.  That I have to try to post everyday. I like the activities/challenges.  It makes you have to think about yourself and your lifestyle and what is best for you to achieve your goals.  It also helps to have other people in the same place and to hear their stories and to get to know other people a little more.
     
    FEBRUARY
    Do I want to participate in Team 2-10? yes
    Areas I want to focus on in February - Continue to work on losing pounds/inches.  Try to open up a little more with everyone on the thread.  I would like to see more team involvement as far as the different volunteer positions and what each volunteer position should be doing to help the team.

    Please share your thoughts on the Krunch Challenge, the individual exercises, your effort during the week, and your results. I had no results but not because of the evercises. They are great and everyone should do them. My problem is muscle mass and until I lose weight and decrease some of that muscle, my numbers will not change. That's how my body works. I am very frustrated that the weight isn't coming off. Even on Fridays when I'm not eating POP I'm making good choices. I've changed up my workouts and easing back, but still nothing! This week I'm switching up the food to see if it makes a difference. I'm not giving up yet!

    Please share your thoughts on the Krunch Challenge, the individual exercises, your effort during the week, and your results I was hoping this would be a good week, but got way laid by my darn lungs.  If walking from my car to work (it takes 5 minutes) then having to sit for up to ten minutes to quit coughing counts, then I did some cardio.

    Comments about the Cardio Challenge I wish I could have contributed but decided that breathing and recovering was a bit more important than walking.  I am getting better.
     
    JANUARY
    My Successes, Accomplishments and Concerns In spite of falling ill and falling off plan, I still have a net loss of 10 pounds.  I managed to be completely POP for 23 days before becoming ill and running out of food.  I was concerned that when I finally got to the grocery store, I wasn't able to stay on my feet long enough to get what I needed to continue being OP.  However, I decided that I needed to eat to get better and something was better than nothing.  I now have food in my house but no energy to cook tonight and no time tomorrow.  I will be back OP once I can get something cooked up.  Until then, I'm focusing on getting better and not getting to fatigued that I relapse.
     
    What I liked about being on Team 1-1-10 I liked the low key aspect of this group but still having enough energy and interest to keep going.  I liked not being pressured to do more than I was able and I didn't feel judge when I fell apart when I fell ill.  This is a good group of people and I hope we all continue this journey together.
     
    FEBRUARY
    Do I want to participate in Team 2-10? YES
    Areas I want to focus on in February getting back on plan and beginning to do some limited cardio.  (I finally found a wii and got the wii fit program.  I'm really excited about trying this out.)

    Please share your thoughts on the Krunch Challenge, the individual exercises, your effort during the week, and your results  I had planned on participating in the Krunch Challenge but unfortunately my work days were so long that I did not have the time or energy to get started.  I have been ‘on plan’ all week with my eating but not always ‘on time’.  have reached #10 Avatar and my clothes are fitting much better now.  I can also see the difference in my face and upper body. I’m looking forward to finally trying out my Wii Fit plus this week-end and I am also planning on trying out some of the Krunch exercises.

    Comments about the Cardio Challenge  - I really enjoyed the Cardio Challenge.  I have been struggling to find the motivation to exercise and this challenge really inspired me to push myself further. 
     
    JANUARY
    My Successes, Accomplishments and Concerns  Before January, I tried a few times to get back on the program, but I lacked the determination to go beyond a week.  I am so pleased to have lost 12.5 pounds and 7.25 inches in just under one month and I can see myself continuing until I reach my goal weight.  I have also, for the first time, seriously gone through the 18 minute work-out routine to become comfortable with the exercises. 
     
    What I liked about being on Team 1-1-10:  It's really nice to have company on this journey.  I have enjoyed trying new recipes and I look forward to reading all of the overnight posts on the ferry as I travel to work.  Although I do not live in the US, I have found that I  have a lot in common with most of you - our experiences, circumstances and habits are very similar.  This is the first time that I have ever participated in a forum of this nature and I appreciate the warm welcome I have received.

    Comments about the Cardio Challenge _I  liked it but I do most of my weekly cardio on F Sa Sun.
    FEBUARY
    My Successes, Accomplishments and Concerns I set out a personal goal of 8-10lbs for January and I got the 10 so I am happy about that. I am a little concerned about getting complacent.  
    What I liked about being on Team 1-1-10 We are going at our own pace and being supportive of each other.  Which I feel that all the threads I have ever been on do but just at this time my pace is turtle speed.
     
    FEBRUARY
    Do I want to participate in Team 2-10? Yes
    Areas I want to focus on in February To keep moving forward on the 2lbs a week. I want to work on more cardio at least 30 mins everyday. I get most of my cardio on the weekends after mom goes home and the week is a little more difficult to manage it.

    Although the photo assignment was the one I choked on, I did it, posted it and it was an eye opener as to what I really have to get done here.  I attempted (i.e., copied and pasted) the activities later in the week  but the time got away from me. 
     
    I reached my cardio goal, which in this winter weather, is a real gain.  I usually get in at least a half hour walk around the park when I'm in the office, but with the blustery snow, ice and general inclement weather, that option isn't really open until spring.  I do make sure I park in a spot further from the office in order to add a few more minutes to my total.  While at work I take the stairs down 6 flights instead of the elevator.  Little things in addition to the Wii workouts are really helping.
     
    My focus this week is to work on breaking my old habit of snacking after work and after dinner.  I find that if I'm TIRED I am more apt to fall off the plan.  Soooooo, earlier bed time for me.  I've been living on 5 hours sleep a night for a long time, so it will be a welcome change.
