Hi.  I've done this before, and been on here under multiple names because I keep forgetting my account names.  Anyway, it has been years since doing the program and I don't have my blue print quiz anymore.  Does anyone know where it is online, or if it is no longer available how can I find out what my body type is??

As you've noticed, the online test isn't presently up and running while other areas of the site are getting a facelift.   If you don't have the hard copy of the test, I'm not sure what to tell you short of checking with Customer Service 1-888-PROVIDA (7:00 am through 5:00 pm, Pacific Time, Monday through Friday.)

I'm a bit confused why you're retyping.  Unless you've either gained or lost a large percentage of body fat, your body type doesn't change.

Effective February 2013, I'll be moving on to other Provida adventures and will no longer be part of the 6WBM staff.   I've enjoyed working with you all and wish you the best with your weight loss endeavors.

My doctor wants me to "retype" because the one I have been going by hasn't done much for me in the last few months.   I was hoping to just get it from online, as I can't afford to buy something.  I already have everything else I need...

It is very unusual though not impossible for a body type to change, and less likely if you were getting solid results previously.  What eating plan have you been using?  Filling out your Profile can help us assist you further.

If you can't recall the login names you might have used in the past, yet as pretty sure of the email addresses used, you can submit a request to our online help desk at http://helpdesk.provida.com for assistance regaining access to your former account(s) or to have them removed.

It was an honored privilege to serve this community starting in 2002 giving advice, then working behind the scenes managing the online help desk, and for over 2 years as the primary Specialist and Administrator of these forums.  Yet, sadly, I had to leave those roles in March of 2012.  May you each find what you need here, and in yourselves.  It works when followed as written.  You're worth the effort, always.  You may submit program related questions to "BMOS JP".  Technical questions may be sent to the "Forum Admin" account.

Can I really be sure my body type has remained the same? I'm 56. Could it have changed with other variables over the last 8 years?

The majority of a blueprint is one's weight history. Usually, the only time someone's body type changes is when they get to goal. For instance one of our success stories was always over weight until she started the 6WBM and lost a 140lbs and was an A and now after several years of living lean, she has increased her muscle mass and would be a body type C if she needed to lose a few lbs. If she regained all her weight, then her reduction body type would best be as an A.

Going from an A to a B is rare since an A has always had weight problems whereas a B gained as an adult.

I'd stick with your original body type unless you've lost a dramatic amount of weight.

I too have lost 65 pounds, and was interested in taking the quiz again. After about an hour of searching, I found your post. Facelifts are fine, however, as a past consumer who has sent many... many customers your way, they generally  body typed on line prior to purchase.  It was like a little taste of what was to come.

Oh well, taking it off was a poor corporate decision, in my opinion. I will find my papers, and TRY to retype, the old antiqated way.  If we are all members... what does it hurt to retype after 2 years?

To clarify a bit, at the time this thread was initiated (July, 2011), the non-forum portion of Provida.com had undergone a facelift and some of our links were removed.  Since that time, the link to the blueprinting quiz was reinstated and it was fully operational.

Your post today is the first notification we've received that the quiz has gone missing again.  I've sent off a message to someone within the company, however I'm doubtful I'll receive a response until after the new year.

For what little it's worth, the scoring on the hard copy of the quiz is considered the most reliable, so if you're able to locate that it's likely your best bet.

Effective February 2013, I'll be moving on to other Provida adventures and will no longer be part of the 6WBM staff.   I've enjoyed working with you all and wish you the best with your weight loss endeavors.

I'm bumping this back up with an update for any returnees who are looking for this information.

First of all, unless a person has gained or lost a SIGNIFICANT percentage of body fat, it's unlikely that he or she would need to retype when returning to this plan.  But, if you wish to do so and you can't find the quiz portion of your kit, please do to this link in our FAQ.

The online version of the quiz is no longer available, however, I've posted scans of the written quiz which can be printed out and used.

Hope that helps someone in need!  Smile

Hello ladies, I have the 6 week body makeover blue print in hard copy form. You can print it out and tally your score and then determine which body type you are. I did this diet about 5 years ago and I lost 25 lbs in 6 weeks. This is an amazing and healthy option. This is also my 'go to diet' when I have found myself a bit chubby, and it always works. I know its hard to get started but if you have the determination to lose weight in a short period of time, this will work if you stick with it. There is no exercise required unless of course you want to speed up your weight loss. Essentially, 75% of what you eat determines the weight you gain or lose, so by doing this diet without exercise, you still will lose weight. I did and I love to share my success with others. If you are interested in me sending you the quiz, please send me a private message or it appears the comment below me has already given access as well. Good luck!

    Minnesota Mom,

I'm always a bit concerned when someone posts his or her email address in the open forum.  You're leaving yourself open to web crawlers harvesting your email address for spamming purposes, so you may wish to think twice about leaving that information readily available.

I'm guessing that in your eagerness to share, you may not have read my post directly above yours.  Several months ago, scanned the same quiz you're offering and placed it in a permanent spot within the FAQs.  There is a link in blue which will take interested parties directly to the quiz.

Perhaps you'll want to edit your post to remove your email address?  In the event you don't know how to do that, there's an "edit" icon    Edit     on the right upper portion of your post.  I sure hate to see you get spammed.

Thanks for the heads up -probably not a good idea to have my email address on a forum. And yes, I am very excited to share my successes with everyone!
