    I have the Smart Technique cds. I was thinking about adding the 6wbm but was wondering how that food plan compares with the food lovers fat loss plan that comes with the cds. I know that the 6wbm includes an exercise program, but I am very happy with my current exercise program. I am not asking for any one to breach the copywright rules, but really don't wish to add a redundant program. What do you all think? Thanks.

    On 6wbmo you eat 5 or 6 times a day (last snack is optional). You have low fat protein w/ each meal and snack (except the optional last snack). On my plan (I am a B type) I have fruit or carbs w/ each meal or snack and veggies twice a day. No sugar, no salt, no added oil (not even Pam). It is pretty intense but it works I have lost 13 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks. I have stayed on plan except I sometimes miss a snack, which is a no no. The tapes must make it easy b/c I have stayed on plan even though it is pretty rigid.
    Hope this helps. I have not done the Food Lovers Diet. I am thinking about finishing my 6 weeks then doing another diet (like Food Lovers for 2 weeks) then back on for another 6 weeks until I am on goal. I don't know maybe I will just start 6 weeks again - can't argue w/ success.

    Thanks for responding. That sounds exactly like the Food Lovers program. It is five meals with a protein, carb and veggie for each meal. You can eliminat the carb from the morning and afternoon snack meal. The suggested carbs are fruit or allowed starches like oatmeal. No fat, no sugar, no salt. Congratulations on the weight loss. I haven't done so well as I am really resistant to starting an eating program. I try every day. But I just have to stick to it. Thanks again. Blue

    I know what you mean, Blue. I thought the 6WBMO looked interesting, but soiunded like the Food Lovers. I have been on it for six weeks and hav enjoyed it. Have you gotten any more info or tried anything different since Sept?

    help... what is the food lovers fat loss plan i have never heard of this? also the smart technique program i was wondering what that was too? can someone help explain these too me. I have been on the 6wbm for about 6months now but i just recently joined to supporyt community so this is new to me.

    Hi Candi,
    I answered your question in the Newbies forum where you asked the question.
    The FLP is the food plan that comes with the SMART Techniques. It's based on the 6WBMO but is not specific to body type.

    Would you suggest using the SMART technique wiht the 6WBMO? Sometimes I need a little extra support/emcouragement and maybe this is what could give me that.

    Just be aware that there will be a slight delay in receiving your ST program. It's been retooled and is just about ready to be sent to the printers. The kits will be shipping around mid-June.

    But the wait will be worth it.

    The diet is basically the same but you customize it for your specific body/metabolism. The exercise regime is about the same as the food but customized for your specific body wish list. For example, you have a flat butt and would like a JLo butt you pick the exercise for that specific concern. This is all generally speaking of course. I know you like your exercise plan but let me tell you, I have NEVER seen anything with this sort of results and I've spent a bundle on personal training. This is the beginning of my forth week, some weeks were worse than other since I quit smoking but I see my shape litteraly morphing into the new me. I have a lot to lose so I watch the areas with the least fat and it's like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. I'm so excited about the plan and I think you would be too. If nothing else the diet will at least shake things up a bit and encourage the weight loss. Change is good! Good luck to you!
