I originally purchased this program in late 2001. I weighed 161 and had just become engaged. I used the program and lost almost 20 pounds in 5 weeks. At 143 I was just 8 pounds shy of my goal. Then I moved in with my over-weight sister and "life" happened (a.k.a. guilt, sabotage). By our wedding day in November 2002, I was desperately holding on to an okay-looking 152. Since then, I've sort of followed the program, starting back up on the food in the morning and quitting by the afternoon. I've "re-committed" myself right up to my record all-time weight of 182. Then I realized something profound. I never REALLY got back on the program. Get how sick this is; I actually used "being on the program" as a justification for all of the diet Dr. Peppers and donuts and candy bars! I figured that since I ate my meals at the beginning of each day, if I fell of plan from 3 o'clock on, it would somehow even itself out. And I didn't even realize this was my thinking until recently. It's totally absurd to me now. On June 14th I re-typed and blueprinted my body. What do you know? I changed from a type C to a type B along with the 30 pounds gained. I lost 10 pound in two weeks, 7 in just the first week. Unfortunately I had been diagnosed with gallstones on June 3rd and was due to have my gallbladder removed on July 2nd. I had become bed-ridden in the last week of June and just stopped eating. Then after the surgery it was a Jello and chicken soup diet. I had made my soup on plan, but I just couldn’t eat more than one or two meals a day yet. So, I’ve recovered enough now to get back on the horse. September 13th is my new launch day. Wish me luck... I believe that even delusional nuts like me can find success with the help of this forum. What a life saver!
