I have struggled with being over weight all of my life, as far back as I can remember. Dad and Mom taught us to take a little of everything that was made for each meal and you ate everything you put on your plate. We were the traditional "meat, potatoes and gravy" family and portions sizes were never discussed. We were never starved by any means. It has been hard to break that cycle and even now with a husband and children I find myself making large meals and not getting much exercise. I need to get myself together. I enjoy some exercise but if I don't see results quickly I tend to give up. 05/11/04 Six weeks down and I feel great. I have lost pounds and inches and have alot more energy. It is becoming more noticable to others and especially my husband. I am set and ready to keep going. 05/26/04 Hit the 30 lbs gone mark. Yahoo. Just going to keep moving on and keep the faith that with God's help I will overcome.
