My story is the same as most. I'm the only one in the family who is overweight, although both sides of the family have "issues". From my maternal grandmother, got the boobs. From paternal grandmother, got hips and thighs. Combine the two and you can just imagine! If I was "slim", I would have been a pin-up girl in the 1950's! Talk about an hourglass figure - until about 8 years ago, I still had a waist despite the hips and thighs. Added to that I have hypothyroidism and PCOS/insulin resistance. Despite not having a large appetite, eating the wrong foods over the years has added to my weight-prone areas. It has now reached the point where the fat has to go somewhere and has now piled on in the upper arms and stomach. I have finally reached my breaking point and hope that 6WBMO is the answer. I suspect it will be based upon all the research and success stories I've found on this website. I'll be starting on 7/11/05, so wish me luck!
