I refuse to be an "If Only"
I was a very active child and then hurt my wrist and was told by my Dr. not to do anything. I listened to him and did nothing for over 20 years. Nothing but eat. I used to be able to lose weight really easy and still can for 2 weeks and then everything stops and I start gaining even though I stick to the plan. (Whatever the plan of the day is). I have had my stomach stapled, been on every diet, ran, gone to the gym every day and had a trainer that used to train the military and the police. He even trains olympic athletes. I did not lose an ounce and no my body fat didn't change either. Needless to say I am at a loss. Unfortunately not a weight loss. Anyway, I am going to give this my all, and once I can walk again (after foot surgery in June) I am going back to the gym and will start running again. (Okay I have started running again and am now training for a Sprint Thriathlon and believe me if I can do it anyone can. I know people all say that but it seriously is true regarding the exercise). I feel better when I run and exercise even if I don't lose weight. Actually I feel better once it is over for the day. I hate actually doing the exercise. At this point that is my story and I am sticking to it. You know it has been almost 2 years since I wrote the above story and I am still playing around. I run again, I did the triathlon, I exercise BUT I don't eat properly. And by properly I mean the 6WBMO way. I have proven that exercise alone will not make me thin. Now is time to do it properly. I have only lost and gained weight over the last 2 years (with a small visit to onederland). Now I want to move permanently into Onederland. So this is the new start and I WILL DO IT THIS TIME!! Onederland or Bust. Isn't it amazing what happens when you goof around playing at doing the 6WBMO. I went from a start weight of 216 to a start weight of 222 and now a start weight of 245. I restarted this plan March 27 and a week later am out of the 240's and getting my "weigh" through the 230's. I never want to see the 40's again. unless it has a one in front of it. I did not fail again I just found another way that does not work for me. I can't believe that horking down the junk food doesn't let me lose weight. Maybe I should just be POP and see what happens. All the successful people on this site can't be wrong.
