My story is a familiar one. I am a 30 year old married mother of 3 beautiful little girls, stepmom to 3 wonderful teens. I think my 'weight problem' actually started when I was around 11. I remember my favorite aunt saying to me, "you may want to exercise a little or that could be a problem", as she was pointing to my poochy stomach. I've always been pretty "busty" and that's all that guys would see when they talked to me. I think as soon as I put my first training bra on, I immediately went into a 34 b, I think I was 12 then. Anyway, I was a chubby little girl for a while, I graduated high school, worked a little while, then moved from New York to Ohio. Met my husband when I was around 200 lbs, went from there to my now present weight of 257 lbs which I seem to maintain without any problems. Grant it, it's been 9 years, 5 pregnancies and 3 c-sections later. But I'm still here and still fat. BUT....I'm ENCOURAGED! Encouraged by the many profiles and pictures I see of strong CONQUERERS. I know no one here, but yet I feel like most of you. The only fear I have is that I won't be disciplined enough to plan my meals or eat what I'm supposed to when I'm supposed to. Well, if anyone's interested in giving any tips of any kind, feel free!! And 1 other thing...I am SO glad to be here!
