I've been battling my weight for as long as I can remember. Up until April 2004 I was unsuccessful at reaching my goal weight on any program. About 7 years ago I reached a high of 335 lbs. Weight Watchers and Richard Simmons exercise tapes helped me get down to 260 lbs. Over the next three years I gave birth to 2 beautiful and healthy girls. Although I never climbed over 300 again, I was fluctuating up and down never getting below 260.

When I turned the program on, I immediately recognized Michael Thurmond as the fitness and nutrition expert from Extreme Makeovers. The more I heard the more interested and hopeful I got. So I decided to try it. There was a money back guarantee; I couldn’t lose anything but weight. April 27, 2004, the day after my birthday, I began my journey. The weight fell off. After 8 months, 115, and over 120 inches I have reached my goal. I have now lost over 180lbs in total. I am sure I will keep it off because I have the support and tools to maintain my success.
