I've been overweight my entire life. Tried every diet in the book. Watched my father, who is nearly 400 lbs, try to play with his grandchildren - and could not. He was just too big. I knew I was headed in the same direction. So, I decided it was time to make a change. Food would no longer rule me...I would rule over it. The next day I saw the tv ad for 6WBM and it just made good sense. I immediately ordered the material - which I seldom do - and began right away. So far I've been following the 6wbm eating guidelines and have lost 110 lbs in 7 months (Nov 2003 - June 2004)! UPDATE JAN 2007: My goal is to reach AT LEAST 225 lbs. So, as of now, I have lost 115 lbs and I have 14 more to go to reach goal!
