I was in the Air Force, stationed in Germany, and worked on jets. In Feb 2005, a highly pressurized metal air hose flew off the jet and hit me in my sternum. It didn't break it, but I developed costochondritis (chronic inflammation of the cartilage in the chest wall with pain that mimics a heart attack). Because of the frequent attacks, I couldn't sleep, I was pumped full of medicines from anti depressants to prescription narcotics. I gained 30lbs in a month from this one prescription alone........I developed Fibromyalgia and was diagnosed on feb 2006. Dr after dr told me that there was nothing they could do for me other than pump me full of narcotics to make me not care about the pain because there was no cure. I felt like they told me I was dying......I couldn't even hold a 8lb baby or climb a few flights of stairs. I was transfered back to the states in hope that I could find a dr who could offer some assistance. I met this one Rheumatologist who told me the only way I was going to get some relief was to excersise more and get rid of the Standard American Diet (SAD)- he did say that I would still always have the chronic costochondritis and fibromyalgia though, just less pain. So I would go to the gym with my unit and walk for like 20 min and give up because I was tired.......which is normal with fibromyalgia...I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to be sick all my life. I was being prosecuted in my unit because I had gained weight, and I was going to get in trouble if I didn't get my waist down to 32 inches. Thats when i saw the infomercial. I thought.........wow....they all did it.......I can too. I originally ordered this program last fall. I started it and lost 6 or 7 lbs, but then Thanksgiving came and I fell off. And then I tried to restart but I was like "how am I supposed to drink all that water when I don't have access to a bathroom on the flightline!!!" or "how am I supposed to eat if I am working on a jet for 12 hrs straight". Life then kicked in ful
