I have been on diets since I was 10 years old. My mom took me from doctor to doctor to find an answer. She is just a big kid she will lose weight as she gets into her teens. Well, guess what, I lost alright--my smaller dress sizes for larges ones. I have been on at least every diet out there twice.
My mom saw the infomercial and order the 6 week body makeover without telling me. I thought, oh no not one more. But as I start on this this week (05/31/04) I had, for the first time, a glimmer of hope. So I begin my journey. I have lost 18.5 pounds in the first week!!!!
and by the end of my first 6 weeks I have lost 37 pounds. Unfortunately 3 weeks after starting the plan I lost my husband of 25 years to cancer.
September 2004--I never would have believed that when I started this plan I would have lost nearly 60 pounds so far. This has been absolutely amazing. this new way of life that I should have following all these years makes so much sense. I can't wait to see where I will be in 3 more months. Thank-you MT.
October 2004, it has been 18 weeks now and I have lost an amazing 72 pounds. My pictures are so dramatic looking especially between 12 and 18 weeks. My effort is really beginning to show. POP is the only way to go. No cheating for me, it isn't worth it!!!! I have more energy than I could ever had asked for and I don't feel ashamed of my body any more. 45 pounds left to go, WOOHOO!!!!
December 2004
My 24th week has arrived and I am -80 pounds and I am beginning to see muscle definition in my legs. I have lost more inches in these last 6 weeks than I have pounds but the transformation continues to awe my friends, family and myself. I have 35 pounds left to go. I just can't believe how easy this is.
5/29/2006 Several illnesses later and I am back to finish what I have started and make it to goal finally. The most incredible part of it all is that while I was "off-plan" I was actually doing my best at attempting the Living Lean program so I only gained a small amount of my original weight loss back mostly because of the drugs I have been on. The biggest difference is that I haven't been able to physically exercise as needed or sculpt. The greastest difference I have noticed is an increase in my BMI and a decrease in my tone and cardio.
May 2009-I had finished my journey by losing 120 pounds in 13 months total. I maintained my weight loss for 2 1/2 years but now am back to lose some more I have maintained well Living Lean and it has been very easy to switch back on my losing machine.
July 2009 I have lost the final 15 pounds and have totally reshaped my body. I love this program. I have now lost a total of 135 pounds. I now weigh 150.5, wear a size 14, and am loving it. Back to Leaving Lean for the rest of my life. Thank-you MT, Dolores, and my provida friends for helping me acheive my dream.
